Brownhillll, Paterson, Tomlin,  Baker,  Wright, Maenappa. Weimann.......

....and.... if at nearly 6 million Diedhiou isn’t ‘Championship ready’ the scouting team and him  deserves the boot

......And if Pisano , Hegeler and Duric weren’t ‘Championship ready’ why exactly did we buy them .........

How many are we up to ........  more than one ?

Midfielders Bob.............Brownhill and GoN signed by LJ.

The point being that we can all see how thin the cover in midfield is with just Pack and Brownhill regular starters. Walsh seems to be on the periphery.

City could use a creative midfielders in the Bannan mould but it’s difficult to find quality midfielders particularly so in the winter window. If any were available it would mean LJ asking SL to fund the deal and LJ would have to convince him of how crucial the need is as it would mean going against SLs strategy.

How’d we get to this argument again?

In a nutshell the club have a great philosphy for growing, being sustainable and pushing for promotion.

They also are average at best when it comes to putting this all into practice.

Over the last few years our transfer strategy has been all over the place. Our in game strategy has been all over the place and it is why we will continueto be average. Look at Brentford, thy have had multiple managers over the last 5 seasons and over those 5 seasons they have bought the same type of players, played the same style of football and been near playoffs every season if not in them.

You can argue we had too much going on at one time with the stadium renevation, growing the academy, the training ground plans, recruitment, sales of players etc but a lot of that is on track or settled so on the pitch is going to have less excuses now. Coming to that time for the football club to actually start progressing a bit more on the pitch

So that’s seven......I thought we were on about midfielders tho......

No, that was a while ago, you moved it on to cover all positions since then.

To quote you @post 49, 'I'll ask again how many of LJ's signings - apart from the always injured Gary O'Neil ( who you'd completely forgotten about) have been established Championship players?'

We're now up to 7 and counting. Another 5 named by Bob.

So that's at least 12.

Bit of a nightmare for you really, time to admit how completely misinformed your comment was?
