The usual sweeping generalisations about Warnock - what about Sane’s foul on Lowton in the Man City vs Burnley match this weekend? Pretty much the same as the Cardiff guy did vs Spurs recently when he got a red card....Sane wasn’t sent off - yet no widespread condemnation of the tackle or Pep Guardiola...?! Double standards and personal vendettas - both signs of laziness and no grasp on reality - so easy to trot out the same old boring lines about the same old people....

You trott out the same boring defence of Warnock all the time.

And you lost 0-5 at home to Man City - we lost by one goal against them in two games last season....you didn’t ‘dismantle’ those millionaires/billionaires did you?! We gave them two good games, you wilted like spinach - oh, and we beat Man Utd and three other premier league sides last season.....wonder how long it will take you to beat 4 premier league teams....

Well done on your cup finals. Looks like it did you the world of good. Wigan beat Man City in the cup as well I think.. Seems to disintegrate your achievement that doesn't it?

Bristol will be relegated before promoted. Another average mid table finish for you this season for your fans and players to lose interest and move on. Next season or the season after you'll be more like a QPR or Reading. So pop shots at us seem to be quite funny from a club that's been in our shadow for the last 10-15 years.

Pop shots at a Cardiff fan on a bristol city forum ? I get that you won well down even the gas manage that once jn a while , but surely posting on your own site would be more satisfying than posting on otib ?

You win a game then you come back on here. Yes you beat Fulham but they and 18 other teams will finish above you this season.

I think there is only one club that have lost core support over the past few years.....even with your short stint in the Premier League........and here's a clue, they play in red.....oh hang on, no they play in blue now.

Your average attendance over the past 3 seasons in the championship was 17,661 which included a promotion season. Since the completion of AG, our average attendance has been 20,104. The average so far this season is over 21,000 so let's just put the "fans lose interest" bullshit to bed straight away.

As for being in your "shadow".....well, yes, since our PO final season, you have indeed finished above us however, with the amount of money Tan has pumped in plus parachute money, surely that would be expected for a one club city?

Importantly, let's not forget it took you 9 seasons in the championship to gain promotion to the Prem, with your first 4 seasons finishing 16,11,13 and 12 (average finish of 13, mid table). You then pushed on for the next 5 seasons before promotion to the Prem.

This is now our 4th season back in the Championship with finishes of 18,17 and 11 (an upward trajectory). A finish within the top 8/9 this season will also give us the same average mid-table finish....... so another 5 years to mirror the oh-so successful, illustrious sheep worriers is fine with me.

Cardiff will be relegated before Bristol City will be promoted is a more likely bet to be honest.

10-15 years , since you were born you mean ?

Don't you know how old you are ?

A shame that Cardiff are no longer a proper club like they were at Ninian Park .

Where you Reddred when Tan whored your club out ?

I love how they've left a nice bit of red seating that you can see when they're on Sky. A nice touch to show they are still Reds at heart and proud.

Dismantled?... You mean the 1-1 all draw, and the game where they had a man sent off against you?..

They've spent £100m since then pal. You're no longer on our level (not that you ever were).

Truth is history has it you have always been below Bristol City F.C as far as status is concerned, you flirtation with the Premier League for a season changes nothing, you are still a smaller club. Wales is a Rugby Nation, it is ridiculous to associate Football with Wales, you have no history of any success whatsoever. And as far as the dealings you have had with us, well I wouldn't change a thing, we pulled your pants down... Tomlin and Reid.. laugh.

They’ve even left the pics on the red seats of that weird and ‘famous’ (ly shite)  head tapping thing they do as well. Just for added effect.

You’ve been in our shadow for much longer than that time period....if you insist on looking back, you didn’t beat us in a league game for 37 years from 1971 to 2008 - a run of 23 league games without beating us.....that was a serious shadow....and as much as I rate Warnock as a great championship manager, I’ve never wavered in my view that he ain’t a premier league manager, you should have thanked him for his services when you went up and moved onto someone more suitable at that level...although your record of appointing managers is almost as laughable as ours, before Warnock you had a very ‘auspicious’ list of top managerial names....ahem...Paul Trollope, Russell Slade, Scott Young, Danny Gabbidon, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and David Kerslake....no wonder Swansea got to the premier league before you and had a decent run up there, winning a major trophy along the way....oh, and any news of the ‘riot’ you promised the world if  Malky Mackay was sacked?! (“If you sack Mackay, Malky Mackay, you’ll have a riot on your hands”) You took that major blow with a bit of a whimper, a bit like when your kit was changed to red....of all colours! No protest, just silent acceptance...

@BlueDredd

Any reason why this is the first weekend we've heard from you this season?

I thought you'd be on here crowing about all the wins you've had so far, now you are such a massive club in the top 4 of the prem.

Oh wait...

I was on a few weeks ago bigging up your away support to be fair. I’m not all that bad.

25. First home game in 96’, so for nearly as long as I’ve followed Cardiff we’ve been a above Bristol City.. apart from the early Scott Murray days.

And proper club? What even is a proper club anymore? Most clubs are the same boring commercialised rubbish. There aren’t any “proper clubs” left at our level.

I attend most away games to try to keep the feeling of “real football” alive.. but let’s be honest, are Bristol City still a “proper club”? I don’t think so.

Oh don't worry we love the bants . There are one or two princesses who are à bit precious but most of us enjoy tooing and froing ( particularly Rudolph Hucker our resident lothario and purveyor of corporal fluids)

We welcome opposition fans on OTIB in the spirit of football.

You've depressed me now.

Well , we haven't left our traditional home for one , nor changed our colours to suit an Asian market , who I'm sure don't give a Tom Tit for Cardiff .

Somehow you can just tell whether you've walked into a proper, authentic pub or a plastic one . It's in the fibre , the history of the walls , the ' vibrations ' that the people past and present have endowed the place.

It's true that you don't find yourself on the same bus as the players on the way to the match these days and with the eye watering rewards these young lads get we don't have much in common but the club do try to connect with it's customers, sorry , supporters.

Having academy lads in the first team and more than holding their own brings us a bit closer to the spirit of the club and equally the work they do in the community is very much appreciated .

Life has changed and football with it , for better or worse.
