It's been the same for as long as I remember, City fans seemingly love to moan. It's incredible really, but you're right. I don't even come on here when we lose anymore - always the same faces on here moaning... cidered abroad Posted October 20, 2018 Report Share Posted October 20, 2018 I've just got home from Weston v Bath in FA Cup and let me tell you that I and several young lads near me were bouncing as the final whistle blew at Griffin Park. My Ratings Post today, despite being delighted with the win, was much shorter than one where we’ve not played well. The faults stay longer in the mind. Even Eliasson who had a non-eventful first half, got two quality scoring crosses in, and he scored the winner, but generally he had a quiet(ish) game today. Easy to forget that. I've read on numerous forums over the years fans proclaiming that their club must have the worst fans ect. Thing is we are reactionary by nature especially by negative events which trigger negative emotions. In an ideal world if we only posted 24-48 hours after a match to let the aftermath of emotions subside and our brains process it all you'd see alot more reasoned comments and alot less reactionary posts. By nature we are also content when things are good and don't feel the need to respond. Hell, look at customer service departments who recieve far far far more complaints than compliments. Tin Soldier Posted October 20, 2018 Report Share Posted October 20, 2018 Regardless of your views on LJ and the decisions he makes (he gets them wrong sometimes I know), but he is like any other “manager” in a business, he lives or dies on his decisions BUT everyone should get behind the team and football club. Bristol City is a stronger club with everyone pulling together. So long as there is a GAP, I am happy. Just think what it would be like on OTIB if we were in the Gas’s position. bredwood Posted October 20, 2018 Report Share Posted October 20, 2018 This negativity has always been there even when we were in the 1st division so I'm not surprised how the tone of the matchday threads turn when we go a goal down. When I used to watch from Cracker's Corner in the 70s, the moaning seemed to be constant - poor Tom Richie was the butt of most of the angst. I went to this too , very good performance from Weston , generally hungrier, First to the ball , keeper looked good and the striker no 9 Kev ? Another one from me. I'm never happy when we lose or even draw when we should have won. Critical, yes, but absolutely miserable when we don't win. As my late first wife once said.
