Is it a case of Lee letting him play his own game when he arrived and is now asking him to do things less natural to him? Playing different tactics that don't allow him to get the ball in dangeeous positions? Whatever is going on, can Lee not see that something negative seems to have happened and try to correct it, e.g. by going back to what was successful at the start? Probably only 7-10 will net 15+ Isn’t a massive problem as he does a lot of work for the team and is pretty intelligent. Probably get 5 or so assists along with 8-10 goals which would not be a bad return. Probably win us a few penalties as well We do look light on goals but we are solid defensively. Hopefully the likes of Taylor, Brownhill, Eliasson, Watkins and COD can get around 5-7 each and that will keep us in good stead. Then need Fam to find form and net 10 or so. Weimann contributes all over. As above, he could’ve had two yesterday. I still think he’ll get 12-15, he’s got a lot of quality. Think his pairing with Taylor suits him. Even if a player does not have the most fantastic abilities, I have respect for players who make the effort week in, week out. He is doing much better here than his other spells though. As long as he keeps up the work rate he will be a good asset though, just need other players to step up since losing the goals from Bryan, Reid and Flint. From the away end it I thought it was a bad miss, but the replays show it did deflect up to him. The second chance was also a great save by the keeper and I didn't think he could have done a lot more, as the keeper got across to block it extremely quickly.
