Unan
For the first time ever I have to get the bus to a game, I'm from north of the river so don't know the bus routes. What's the best bus to get from the centre to AG? or should I just walk it?

cidered abroad
Most country buses from Centre to Weston, Clevedon and Portishead stop at Ashton Gate. Not totally sure about X1 to Weston.
Yellow&Blue&Red
Get the M2. This map says a 9 min walk from the bus stop to the stadium but if you're fit and healthy you'll do it in half that.
JBFC II
I walked on Saturday to get to the coaches for Brentford, lovely walk down the harbourside and through the park. Would certainly recommend it

Not sure where North of the river you live but the 53 goes from Southmead Hosp via Lockleaze, ****ville, Broadmead, the Centre at the docks end, then North St and Duckmoor Rd to Ashton Vale. UK0wnag3
24 bus picks up outside Bearpit and stops on Ashton road just before the Riser. If you pick it up from there just expect a driver change.

GreedyHarry
From Warmley, catch the bus to the Centre and then walk the rest unless a 24 is around. Definitely walk back to Centre on the return leg. 24s get rammed and are unreliable. Country bus service from the flyover back into town can have big gaps. I've always found walking between Centre and Ashton Gate the most reliable.

Burke a very unfortunate surname for those living in the United Kingdom. Not to be confused with berk which is the cockney slang for see you next tuesday (Short for Berkeley Hunt)
Busterrimes
My advice is get off the 43 at the back of Marriott Hotel then stay on that stop for the 24. You beat the crowd getting on at Broadmead

I get the 24 from by the subway opposite the hippodrome if it's pouring with rain, bus is usually crowded by then though.

Offside
Walking to the ground from the centre is pretty quick and easy. I much prefer that than waiting for the 24, which is often crowded and seems to take ages.
