BCFCGav
Amazing 45. Barely put a foot wrong, kept us ticking over, clever passing and lots of creativity. Has to start next week. MOTM for me.

exAtyeoMax
First time I’ve seen him play this season. Really impressed. Why was he held back for so long? Would like to see him get more game time

Hampshire reds
I thought he was outstanding when he came on the lad needs to play more often. why waste a talent by having him on the bench.

JoeAman08
Been saying since preseason he deserves more minutes. Best “footballer” we own and now more have seen what he offers.

Yeah silently have been myself , think that having a midfielder to play around Pack and Brownhill will free us up, and also allow us to supply our wingers for Diedhiou. He really seems to be dead set against 4-3-3 and is happy to be outnumbered in midfield in most games. I could understand it if the wingers were tearing up the opposition but they are not exactly flying.

Full nelson
Watched Kelly closely second half and he always drew in two players and that opened up holes in the middle which stoke needed to plug and by doing so we had Hunt and Eliason in acres of space. 433 is a must going forward! robin_unreliant
Don't get your hopes up. Lee won't play 3 in midfield and won't drop Pack or Brownhill.

Go 4-3-3. Our best spell today was in that formation. Walsh can pass, beat a man, tackle and shoot - what’s not to like?!

Same as that mate, a player that keeps the ball moving and always makes himself available, learnt his trade at one of the biggest clubs in the country, I’ve been baffled by his lack of game time. robin_unreliant
Just heard LJ asked about Walsh on RB. 'Yeah he played well - in a 3'. There you go. Pretty much saying he can only play in a three and that isn't what I play. Annoying.
Robbored
Walsh certainly impressed in the 45 mins he got. He wanted the ball, was lively and his presence stopped Allen dominating as he had in the first half. He was proactive, always looking to pass offensively. He looked pdg to me. Dasilva as well made a difference, his attacking threat down the left was causing Stoke all sorts of problems and it begs the question as to why neither of them were in the starting line up....... He likes to talk about 'my 4-4-2' which gives you a pretty good idea that he is not prepared to change. Not quite the modern, progressive coach then. A bit like SC and his stubborn refusal to change from 3-5-2 regardless of the evidence of his own eyes.

And when he did take Josh off, we went from having 100% possession near enough to allowing them glimpses at the ball and some runs at us. The player to have taken off was Patto. Not a bad game, and he had that one good shot, but not the biggest contributor by any means.

For me, unlucky today . it happens

winsaw
He was excellent in the middle today gave us the creation we have been missing all season, I would still worry he's going to get bullied off the ball by some sides but think he will shine against teams that want to play
