I thought he done ok , looked to get stuck in , looks creative. Plays some clever balls , too clever sometimes for our players :)

Agree, looked to play the ball forward and rarely gave it away, got some good tackles in too. He faded in the second-half, but that's to be expected given he has had such little game time. Should start against PNE, if needs be in place of Pack who, goal apart, was slow and sloppy with passing.

That is one of our issues right now. Pack starts no matter what. Couple that with Patterson must at least get on, despite all evidence, we are an effective man light.

LJ needs one of Hakeem or Eisa soon and they need to be 1.5 mill footballers from the off

Walsh is Better then pack, Walsh can see his pass before he has the ball. Pack needs 5 seconds to think about it, but pack does one 30 yard cross field pass a game so he must be amazing. I seen he got voted in the best city team of the last 35 years on Twitter ? he’s not even the best midfielder in the squad in fact he’s the 4th.

Was the plan in the first half for everything to go through Walsh? He was certainly the most creative player in our side and always wanted the ball, wanted to be involved. Good to see his combative side too- shades of Tommy Docherty ?

Agree that he faded in the second half. Very similar performance and playing style to their goal scorer, Kelly.

Lee j has said  Walsh is good in a 3.. but went with him in a 2 today... I would use him off the bench or when we play 3 5 2...

Which is a bizarre comment by the HC given his love of 4-4-2.

If that is the case then why did we spend £1m+ oh him?

Another example, one of many, of confused thinking.
