Bristol Oil Services
I wondered where Monty Don was. Waggy's not going to know if I should cut me dahlias down this weekend and mulch them, or wait until the first frost. Nightmare....

As opposed to the beard he had when playing for us?! I loved Waggy’s attitude - often a sub, always gave everything....

BRISTOL86
Every squad needs a Wagstaff. 100%, no bullshit, would give 100% in goal if asked to. Good pro.

ZiderEyed
Love Waggy. Always left everything out there. So committed. Sort of player you never really forget because they cared so much and tried so hard, consummate pro. Plus he turned down the saggies!

RedM
Lovely bloke and as mentioned every side needs players like him. I’ve followed his career a bit since he left us, has been in and out of the Gills team and Wimbledon mainly due to injury. Certainly wouldn’t have got much out of him if he had stayed here so it was right for him to move back nearer home. He’s got married since and still meets up with a few of our ex players from what I’ve seen on social media. Still only 28, seems ages since he was here but it’s been only 2 years. He used to come over and chat to us in the Atyeo wheelchair “hut” when he was injured. Re The photo above - Joe got the red shirt and Oskar got the white one. Lovely guy. During 13/14 season he was our most consistent player...7/10 every game, and would’ve got POTS had it not been for Baldock and Jets Goals.

cidercity1987
Watkins seems to be closest to Wagstaff out of the current lot in terms of style and statute. And yet he's disliked by many.
Lanterne Rouge
It was great when he scored one of the six in the demolition of Bolton in what turned out (I think) to be his last game for us. If anyone deserved it, he did. One of those players that every team needs and, by all accounts, a top bloke too.
