Away today so can’t make it.

Ahyone there care to rate the first 30 mins out of 10? Sounds as boring as Stoke?

I didn't think Stoke 1st half was as anywhere near as bad as this. This is from.

30 mins gone and PNE look far more likely to score than we do. Fammy having a v.poor game.

I agree Preston have had a few chances on the counter but equally we also have had a few chances bit just not as good.

Our tactic seems to be crossing it into the box.

Just as I wrote this they scored.

Why is Robinson trying to wind up the Ashton Gate faithful? Carrying on for Cunningham it seems. Douche.

Baker should've got a better clearance on that cross rather than just clearing it straight to their attacker.

Trying to play a more physical/defensive team isn't working so far. Back to the usual shape with Eliasson second half I imagine. Hope it's not too late.

The goal scorer going OTT with his celebration and cupping his ear to the SS.

Considering he’s proven to be a much better player than we ever thought he might have a point

If we lose at home to Preston, playing 5 at back, after losing away to Reading, after  9 months of boring football....Johnson out.

taking us nowhere.

Who cares. They were giving him shit earlier. We have more to worry about than a celebration.

~20 posts from the first 30 mins of the game. A lot of nothing by the sound of it. Up until PNE score.

Because he’s been booed by City fans all game.

Every player in the world, bar none will make at least one mistake in a game, so that was deliberately ignored as it's a meaningless comment.

Bakers injury record, from Transfermarkt, who are fairly reliable.

Not a single injury down under his time here.

I'm well aware he has missed a game or two down to the concussion at Brentford, but that is an enforced precaution, not him being physically unable to play.

If you are believing that injury record then i cant help you

Johnson teamtalk “get crosses in. Bye”

Was just going to say this. Has completely lost the plot with this team selection and play style. It is like he has thrown everything out the window and said whatever you do aim for Diedhiou’s head so maybe he can get a goal. This is the most miserable performance I think I can recall since we have been back in the championship.

We have yet to register a serious attempt on goal, Hunt & Da Silva have put in several good crosses but often only Fammy in the box and he is just not getting on the end of any of them.

Shocking performance. Much more of this and you'll have to question the direction we are headed in. City would need to be in the relegation zone at Christmas, with the crowd lost for Johnson to be under threat but you can't see it happening.

God this is boring rubbish.

thank goodness we’re incompetent at the back otherwise there would be nothing exciting going on

If we lose this then I'll be getting worried about a relegation scrap which I wasn't at the start of the season.

Pretty much 11 months of rubbish football, poor team selection and lack of style. If Moyes would take the job then get him in

As I said, fairly reliable, not 100% guaranteed accuracy.

I'm struggling to recall many injury issues, other than him being subbed during a game for one two or three times, when he was usually fit to play again the next match, so even then it was a precautionary measure.

As stated before, there was the concussion at Brentford, but the 2 games or whatever it was he missed after than are an enforced precaution because of issues that can come up after a concussion, Baker could have been fully fit and recovered, he wouldn't have been allowed to play though.

Presumably you have a long list of injuries he has had while here though? Otherwise you have nothing to stand on with your response.

Are you really saying that Baker has never missed games through injury during his time with us James?!

The worry about the 'we are just an average mid table Championship side' line, is over the last two months we have been playing far far worse than that. Playing poor Div 1 type stuff, no threat, and just outplayed. Start so slowly, and only ever seem to give it a go when behind. Will be very lucky to finish mid table based on recent form.

Managed two off target shots so far.

Need changes at HT, get Pack and Fammy off. Both been very poor, Pack culpable in build up to PNE goal allowing Preston player to turn him on halfway line and stride away and his passing has been off (again). Fammy has had several chances to get on the end of good crosses and has got nowhere near any of them.

A whole half where I could have played in goal for PNE and not conceded as we have not has a single serious attempt on goal.

No urgency, no desire, no creativity, no presence up front, no pattern, no atmosphere, no shots, no goals, no idea.

Apart from that, bloody marvellous.

The sad thing is this could describe one of a number of performances recently.

So just to be clear, you were asking for this change to be made, and now that it has been made you are complaining?

If that's right then it sums exactly what is wrong with supporters.

No not at all, I am saying that he has gone away from what he believes in.

We are crap, making a very average preston team look like world beaters. Bring on eisa for Diedhiou and eliasson for Baker at half time, at least then we might go forward...
