The management team and players have gone away and watched the last game back and have worked on the areas they did wrong - don't think we've heard this before hence we can look forward to a much improved performance in the next game ?

Dubai like before Sunderland at home last season. They should have gone to Workington.

Has two weeks been long enough to figure out how 90+ minutes went wrong?!

i fear not.

Easiest game Leeds will have all season coming up.

The worrying thing is how on earth did the coaching staff and players get it so wrong to begin with?  How can we be sure it won’t happen again? *

* Yes of course will will lose games in the future, but to capitulate like they did was baffling.

Worked on the areas they did wrong. Does this mean they're not happy with that level so they'll make sure it's even more wrong next time? Maybe so wrong that it'll actually be right? A coaching theory that LJ has just stumbled upon? When all else fails etc.

It's much too early in the annual "Blip" to even think of improvement let alone do anything about it.

It usually takes Johnson a minimum of four months to come up with some sort of remedial action, so let's forget Christmas festivities like winning, scoring goals and clean sheets.

And hope that the New Year brings some relief.

You naughty boy mate. Just got to the end of thread and realised you were being ironic, sarcastic and also using a hint of Hyperbole and litotes. Quite a bundle!

What you are saying reminds me of when LJ suddenly realised that we weren't starting quickly enough and we were also thinking too much about the other teams' style of play. Do you think he will ever ask the players to start more quickly and concentrate on our game? Maybe we've got to wait for another international break before he can do that?

I'm not a football expert like some on here but it did remind me of some of the things Sven used to come up with after an England game :

"They scored a goal and we didn't, so they won. But that is football!"  - Profound and insightful or what?"
