Competitive medieval fighting in Bristol With winter here pretty much. Saer-Ulfr invite those who want to get some extra fitness, have an inclination to do a little bit of combat self defence & those who're interested in Reenactment to pop along to our training session on the 6th of Jan. We train with Eastern/Huscarl rules such as those used in Wolin(Poland) and Neustadt-Glewe(Germany) We do competitive line & bridge fighting within the UK and travel abroad to fight when the event requires. We have "soft" kit(hard foam/non steel) that experienced and new members use, so there's no worries about bringing anything with you to your first few sessions. I think they do other colours, but you have to imagine the other person in front of you in blue and white, and you there armed with a battle axe !!!!!!!!!!!!!
