FFS with Franz Ferdinand is a great album and so is Hippopotamus from a couple of years ago. They certainly haven`t lost it. They were interviewed on RadMac recently and it`s clear they`re still loving it too.

had a girlfriend many years ago that went to a sparks concert at the Colston hall, they threw a scarf into the crowd and she caught it, another fan snatched it off her she was distraught, they invited her up on stage sang the next song to her and gave her another scarf, so they are nice people as well.

Just read in the BBC gossip section speculation that they will offer Steve Bruce £2m pa to go there!

If so, then financial prudence - Villa style.

Watched the Final Score programme on BBC and they were saying that Bruce wanted to wait until after his birthday (31st Dec) before joining. Clearly totally committed then....

He`ll have got a ton of Xmas goodies in at home and it`ll take him until the new year to chow through them.

200 mince pies won`t eat themselves.

Haha. Anyone here old enough to have been at the Sparks concert at the Colston Hall in the 70's when they arrived late due to having to do a TOTP appearance and then ran through their set list at 2x speed (or was it the hippodrome)?

I saw them at the Taunton Odeon in 1975 so probably the same tour.

Thank you RRH, best laugh I've had for ages.
