Never to the dark side
There is one for the premier league, can't find one for the Championship. At the current halfway stage, Chelsea have hit the woodwork 13 times and Watford just two. against Rotherrham and Derby we had one each game and the away game at Rotherham we had two
Redland
Last week it was reported that we have hit the woodwork more times this season than any other club in all four divisions. Unfortunately I can't remember where I heard/read it.

Hampshire Red
I'd read it was 12 before the Brentford game. Josh hit another yesterday so imagine we are still the 'leading team' for woodwork. It isnt necessarily a good indicator but it must mean we are very close to scoring more and picking up more points. Considering a win at Stoke will probably take us to 9th in the table, we could have done with those few more goals as the results in the Championship are so tight

Yep, the phrase is as spurious as the number of people at a game being known as the “attendance”!
