Rory Holden loaned to Rochdale : CONFIRMED

Red Army 75

Interview with their manager says he's been up there training for a couple of weeks so can hopefully hit the ground running. 'He’s a naturally wide player who can play as a number 10 as well. He’s got a gifted left foot, bundles of energy & a good footballing brain'. Will be interesting to see where they play him, often played CM for our 23's.

Says a years option when he signed. But never mentioned by LJ.

Also Jonny Smith, he s always done well on loan at Cheltenham, Flyde and now Tranmere. In some ways our most successful loan player. But never spoken about at the club.

Maybe he hasn't got the right identity?

How do you know he's not spoken about at the club? Just because they don't talk to the public about him, same way Bakinson and Semenyo etc don't, while they're in league 2 there's still some way to go.

You got a link to the year option?  Can’t find anything.

Because unlike Vyner,Moore,Hinds, and probably a few others. He didn't sign a new deal before going out on loan. Is never spoken about in public by LJ; when he talks about the promising new youngsters.

I don't think he ever really played for the u23s either over the last 3 years.

I saw him at bitton this season, and once again him and Holden(who scored), stood out amungest the rest of the u23s in the 2nd half

I think in Smith's case, it's because, in the 3 years with the club; he s been on three season long loans(which have been succesful). But the club never mentions him at all.

Hinds's loans have been nothing short of a disaster. Yet he's been given a brand new contract.

Just seems all a bit strange that's all.

Shocker that a new contract gets announced by the club.... Imagine if/when Smith gets one it will be announced too

Aaron Wilbraham and Zach Clough currently two of their striking options!

Wonder if Wilbs put in a good word

No disrespect to Rochdale but how the mighty fall , in Zach Clough  !!!

Could have been playing for us , if his dad didn't poke his nose in

Good luck Rory
