What's the betting we still kick off at 17:30 on the Saturday..

Considering there is a rugby match finishing 50 minutes earlier I'd say not very likely...

6pm on a Sunday evening, that’s a new time isn’t it.

Wonder if we could do 7.45pm Saturday, that would be new too

I'm sure Sheff Wed would be delighted.

I know. They still got to get through their replay with Luton, nice reward to play Chelsea but rubbish time isn’t it.

I quite fancy a midnight game... under the stars.

No floodlights, put a bell in the ball. Perfect.

That was 8pm Saturday.

Sunday evening has been used, but not for a good few years now. I'm sure I recall Rovers playing at that time against West Brom or somebody.

For the Cup, yes, perhaps pretty new.

Seem to recall in early 2000's in the short-lived ITV Digital deal that was one of the slots though.

Seems an odd time to settle down to watch a game, never mind travel to and from one. Tv rules I guess

Plus it clashes with dancing on ice.

Friday night , under the lights would be better, Sunday pm atmosphere is dead

Whilst normally I'd agree with you, Kivsy, I had to miss the 3rd round because I was in America, and on Friday 25th I also have an unbreakable commitment, so if they hold the 4th round game then I may well go radge!

I just put on the other thread that as we went to Bolton away last season on a Friday night we are offering the same to them.

What happened to the "24 hours between kick offs" rule when football and rugby fixtures clash?

Is there one? I`m sure we`ve had Friday night/Saturday afternoon games on several occasions this season already.

I see you can't load tickets to your card again.

What is the mobile(passbook) option for fee-free tickets? I've got the mobile App but can't see anything explaining what this is...

I don’t think there is. We certainly have had at least one time where it has been Rugby one day and football the next, less than 24 hours between. The nearest thing I can recall is the minimum 48 hours between 2 football matches, eg playing Easter Saturday then again Easter Monday for example, or if football falls on ‘strange’ days over Christmas to fit in with Boxing Day.
