Sounds like Bielsa might be resigning! Fingers crossed.

Maybe to do with spygate or maybe been offered the Leicester job

I am shocked to find that this isn't common practice, it seems logical to me.

If he does resign then there's something else at play here, absolutely no reason to

An apology should be enough. May be standard procedure overseas, but not here. Now he knows

Is strange that he hasn't issued an apology already.

Work with a few Leeds fans and think he’s gone, by all accounts he doesn’t like the fact the club issued an an apology and they want him to do the same.

May all be rumour

Just checked and he hasn’t! Could swear I heard he was yesterday and Brendan Rodgers hot favourite to take over

That’s only press talk, for now.

Looking on Leeds forum seems a lot of hatred towards Lampard. What did he do wrong?!

There's a historic and fairly long antipathy between Leeds and Chelsea.

Lampard as a modern icon of Chelsea, and him being manager of Derby in this scenario- will fan the flames a bit.

Was Biesla the spy at Derby's training ground?! Presumably loads of Derby fans will be heading to the press conference in disguise....

I would be surprised if he was to resign but, he is a person who 'ploughs his own furrow' so it cant't be ruled out.

Much more likely to be a half hearted apology - not that I think he has much to apologise for.

I think Bielsa has a history of resigning.

MB: “I’m going to make it easier for the FL... I’ll assume my behaviour is from the extreme position. We’ve watched all the opponents before we played them. My goal is to make the investigation easier for them. “

Interesting nothing on sky sports news, just a news alert saying "Marco Bielsa news conference coming up"

Apparently he's spied on every single team he's played against this year

That means us

I've changed my mind now

Dirty Leeds, dock them 100 points and relegated to Yorkshire Div 4 😂

They haven’t broken any rules.

According to Danny Murphy this type of spying has been a part of the game for years.

The real issue is that they got caught.

If the EFL have rules in place against this sort of thing then appropriate action should be taken. If not, then whilst it may well go against the English sense of fairplay, you just have to accept it happens. He wont be the only one.

Palace v Cardiff had something similar in 2014.

Palace fined £25,000. Was only one game though.

@Spoons The likes of Jenas, Keown- fairly hypocritical tbh. It surely goes on in the game, has for years I reckon.

Every team has been spied on!!

Ethically not right but not illegal, will be interesting what the FA and the EFL make of his revelation

He had a 20 year career as a pro footballer so he’d know for sure.

How easy would it be to watch our training sessions?

I’ve drove past the training ground many times before, never seen them out training though.

Guessing they’ve used a drone?

They'll say 'don't do it again' and then go back to counting their Sky money.

Easy I expect. This is a real nothing story. Every team does serious research on the team they are playing.

Easy enough - had you or anyone been wearing a City shirt they’d let you in to watch the training.

Same at Derby but the guy was stood on the edge of a footpath by some bushes. All he had to do was wear a Derby top. Nobody would have given him a second glance.

I don’t even see why it’s unethical, if I’m honest. They didn’t even trespass, and the training ground was visible from a public place,  isn’t that right?

It was the flat cap, whippet and loaf of Hovis under his arm that gave him away.

Wow!!

He and his staff apparently watched all 51 Derby games last season! They're analysing Derby games- we should tune in, may give us some tips on how to beat them in April.

It's ben accepted for decades that when club A is due to play B, then you send someone to watch B's next game. Spying on training routines is what seems to be not acceptable.
