daored
Firstly great result and a solid performance, well done to the players and the coaching staff. We have the strongest squad we’ve had since we’ve returned to the championship. To lose a keeper, possibly our best centre half and also full back and to keep a clean sheet away from home is suberb. To have the strength in depth of bringing in Baker & Pisano and having Wright and Kelly on the bench, is really positive. Add to that Palmer from an attacking perspective we have a squad that can compete with the best in this league IMO. Plays offs? We’re in the mix
Robbored
We’ve had similar threads about the strength in the squad, particularly the defence and today with the clean sheet highlighted that perfectly. LJ has created a very strong squad. What a blessing that SL stuck by him when some fans and even MA were calling for his head. Bottom line - it’s all about results............ robin_unreliant
Most of our injuries were in defence where we do have a strong squad. I would still say we are a bit weak in the striker department. If FD is out we have to change our game plan as there is no obvious replacement. Long may this winning streak continue. Wins breed confidence and it is looking quite promising at the moment. Well done the club and LJ for investing and developing a stronger squad than for some years. All replaced this season, all their replacements missing today and still getting the win.

With Taylor injured again we could certainly do with another striker, given that LJ doesn't think Eisa is ready. Lets hope for a loan in before the window closes. Said on RB he wants at least one in and wants a physical front man to share the workload With FD
nickolas
LJ also said we have to go with this18 squadtoday for 5/6 weeks. Perhaps Maenpaa, Hunt, Webster and Taylor are going to be out a while!!

Lucky we were well stocked at CB. Taylor hip flexor WTF ? Does this mean Eisa gets a run ??? Hunt calf strain , hopefully not too long and at least Pisano is fit. Watkins, ankle ? How long is a piece of string, not sure if this is a new one or the one that's kept him out lately. With luck Maenpaa is short term too, at least we have what looks like good cover. Wouldn't be too worried if it was Max, but on todays form FF looks right up to speed. As we have little option , Friday looks likely to be very few changes. FF to start , LJ said Palmer would. I would think BW might get a run with baker having few minutes lately , and toss up at LB. Morrell maybe starting ? At least it's one game a week until QPR.
