Can't for the life work out how to embed it on this page, but there's a great vid doing the rounds on one of the city pages of a dog handler falling arse over tit over a wall as his beast of doom legs it away to maul another police dog. Reading this thread, the vid appears to sum up the kind of day Avon & Somerset enjoyed ?

@JulieHgenuine question if I may :  is it acceptable for a WPC to call a young lad peacefully trying to cross through a Police line to get to his parents car a " F @ @ K I N G *****"  loudly in front of her colleagues ??.  Witnessed by several people.

Yes, they can do what they want and if you complain you get smacked with a truncheon.

Or if you complain officially they close ranks and nothing happens.

They are the biggest, most useless gang in the country and thats being polite.

Great atmosphere today, as it usually is when there's a big away following. Ok a few Swansea kids played up a bit and a few of ours responded.

I don't understand people asking for the away allocation to be cut, you just as well stay at home and watch a dodgy stream from the peace of your living room sofa. This is live football not the cinema

Absolutely.

Its the elephant in the room, but when 500 fans from a nothing team turn up, people moan about the lack of atmosphere. We

spot on, sounds a great day all round, the kind of afternoon that you know you're down the football. Used to love days like this!

No, I arrived on a park and ride bus which included a dozen Swansea fans, I made sure they knew where to catch the bus after and showed them to the fans village.

They were hugely complimentary of our set up, especially the Sports bar.

After I wandered back to the bus chatting with fans having had a great day, pretty much what I've been doing for 40 years, including through some of the worse years of football hooliganism.

Just enjoy the day and go about you're own business and you'll be fine I've always found.

How it should be. People do like a row but normal folks should never feel threatened at a match.

Actually it's a different video. I can't link it because of the privacy of the facebook group but a girl is narrating it. The video I meant is filmed on the other side of the park and it's a tan German Shepherd that does a Fenton.

The black German Shepherd in this video is the one that put the other dog in the vets apparently.

Loved it today, old skool day at AG. Load of Welsh to have a pop at. Hate um. We won 2-0. Happy days!

I can't condone the trouble, certainly not.

That said- the edge that brought added to the atmosphere for sure. Was as it turned out, a handy game for me to take a couple of mates who had't been in a while to!

So true. Like it or not, unseemly scenes massively intensify the atmosphere.

And I have two words for the tosser who I've never seen before sat in the seat behind me moaning at people all around to sit down like he was at the theatre. The second one is off.

Cctv is excellent and I will be reviewing on Tuesday for exactly these reasons .

That's strange, I got hit square in the face by a police officer a few years back, for absolutely no reason apart from that we had scored and I got pushed towards him in the celebrations.Conveniently CCTV didn't seem to pick anything up when an official complaint was made.

What a wonderful indictment of the modern game your last sentence is. Mint

The Police were unaware of any trouble in BS3 as they were too busy escorting Swansea’s main hooligan hardcore in the centre

I do believe that's the heroic officer in the middle that thumped the Millwall fan with his baton and ran away.

Good to see he has been suitably assigned to old ladies and students protective work.

They go down easier with one baton swing apparently....

My hero.

Not so much the modern game as one arsehole on this occasion tbf!

Reassuringly, several other people nearby joined in firmly advising him that he was being a bit of a nause.
