As I said on another thread in my experience these very slow escorts are designed to winde you up and ensure you are late for the game. Apparently they left at 1.30. So 2 hours to walk about 1mile or perhaps they went via Avonmouth.

Least they made it out alive of Avonmouth!!!

Yep , Birmingham away , we could see the ground , and yet took us the scenic route!

A lot of pissed off fans.

With regards to people suggesting the trouble occurred yesterday because of the additional tickets allocation and that this should never have happened... surely if some were intent on causing trouble they would have been at the front of the queue when tickets were released originally? I doubt very much they waited for a further allocation to be made before deciding to come over and start kicking off!

It seems quite apparent that the trouble wasn’t anything to do with the additional allocation of tickets!

Uhmmmmmmm

no

Because Swansea like all clubs allocate on priorities

So unless the village idiots were season ticket holders / other priority groups they would have struggled to get tickets dependent on the allocation

Funny boy.....point is that sort of thing causes kick offs...and on this occasion a number of adults were clearly angry with the language. But in answer to your question, no, I've not actually complained. Now shut the F up and let me get on with choosing the hymns for later.

After yeaterday's incidents, I suggest "We plough the fields and scatter"

There was black netting in both the left and right hand corners....this was ripped up by late arriving Swansea yobs so they could stand there.

Are you sure? people were sat in these areas early, I got to my seat about 1450 and the area next to the Dolman was full then

That is a complete lie.

Same bloke - unless you have two Tyrion Lannisters with psychotic baton swing addictions on your force.

I expected better from you - I should know who he is - I put the official complaint in that was covered up by your lot in less than 2 hours, as  "the person involved has not made a complaint".

Funny how you lot can use video footage, but when it's against you - "inadmissable"

at least 3 other people on here confirm its the same copper.

Unless of course he was doing "overtime" on his "annual leave"   What a shock that would be......

???

Care to criticise the people actually causing the trouble?

But that’s too easy isn’t it.

Create or allow a situation to develop that lets these ***** behave as they do, then issue them with banning orders.

Christ almighty it sounds so easy even I could do it.

Meanwhile those fundamentally responsible for creating or allowing the situation to develop pat themselves heartily on their backs congratulating themselves on a job well done.

And you’re right. You didn’t describe it as a success. Because it wasn’t. Mistakes were made that allowed the mindless idiots to take the shine off what was a superb result.

But listen. You choose to ignore facts and review cctv and body cam footage. Then identify them and ban them.

That’ll do it.

Until next time when I fear similar decisions will be made so you can review more cctv and body cam footage....

Stevie Wonder could have seen that releasing both sets of fans at the same time when there had been earlier argy bargy would have only one sorry outcome.

Jesus Christ. Is it really that difficult?

Sorry but what's Stevie Wonder got to do with it?

This  the video you refer to ?

Fwiw mate I’d suggest it’s highly unlikely that Julie is lying or misleading about this

Cctv is excellent and I will be reviewing on Tuesday for exactly these reasons .

A bit like locking the stable door after the horse has bolted. If it was policed properly in the first place then no need for you lot being all cosy with your mugs of tea in an office on Tuesday. Have a look in the dictionary for the word Police and hey presto!

But that’s why point. They are most likely season ticket holders, if only for the fact it makes them priority when facing us, Leeds, Millwall etc...

Even without getting them at the first attempt, they must still have had some priority when the extra allocation was granted as I doubt they went straight to general sale!

People saying about the extra tickets being an issue without actually knowing that the people who were there to cause trouble already had their tickets are basing it on nothing.

An interesting post on the Millwall Forum from a Wall regular

, ( where they are not outraged :laughcont: we are not getting peters in press like they do :comando:)

My other half works in the 3 Lions in Bedminster. Swansea got the **** kicked out of em after the game. 3 Lions spilled out on top of their older mob.

Do the 3 Lions know of the Wall link ?

Don’t know how anybody could say this is the same cop as you can’t even see his face on the dashcam footage.

Having said that, this being the first time I have seen this, what a C unit of a copper. Literally seen a space open between the other cops and swing for him! The only thing the guy was guilty of was being pushed at the front and being the first one in sight!

Did anything come of this (without wanting to read back through everything)?

Some other interesting comments / views from the t’other side

How they let that ***** just hop on the pitch, walk over and swing a punch I don't know. I think it is partly down to the fact that stewards these days have maybe only seen crowd trouble on TV. Still, I think this was a fairly minor incident all told.
After the game though, I think our lot were mostly to blame. Pushed through an (admittedly weak) police barrier and charged into the park where the City fans were leaving.
On the plus side, I think it's a smaller minority than ever who are after this pathetic hard man stuff.

100's of Swansea City fans arriving late and pi$$ed off they missed the start of the game and rushing to congregate in that corner was a recipe for disaster.
And then after the game 100's of Swansea City fans scattering the Bristol fans in the park and then being left to their own devises unpoliced for about 20 minutes. Shocking planning by the Police I can see some plod high up will have their arses kicked.

Lack of segregation, together with having all those fans come in through one entrance rather than various entrances so they could find their seats.
Also the fact they were half an hour late, all fuelled up and allowed to stand on steps, exits, etc.
It was a recipe for disaster.
Before they came in, it was all banter, then it looked like a rush of fans trying to have a go (it wasn't but you can see how the opposing fans may have seen it like that) and that's when the trouble started.
Very poorly policed and stewarded.

No Problem with BTP who travelled on the trains from Swansea, we heard rumours of an escort from Temple Leads to the nearest Wetherspoons, and that was at midday. We just continued down to Parson Street, not a police officer in sight before the game. Nice walk down to the Nova Scotia, it was too small for a big following so we went up to the cricket club. No bother at all before the game

Inside the ground was woefully under policed. Reason for that seems to be they were herding our fans on the crazy long walk from town to the ground. Stewards should have nipped it in the bud but it escalated quickly

After the game was a bit moronic, let us out the same time into a police line of 4 or 5 covering the street, and charging 4 police horses down a pavement and into the park was a stupid idea too. I nearly got hit by one when they decided to March into the exiting crowd, but luckily was further away when they ran off

Walked back to temple meads with no bother to catch the football special back, which was delayed presumably because the police couldn't get everyone back in time. The amount of bull coming from the stone island brigade on the train was bonkers. Brainless.

Decent day out but the police seriously need to look at themselves

One of their fans suffered a broken jaw, it's on YouTube, that's sadly a bit more than you portray. Mind you he shouldn't have been where he was when he was hit.

If people want to fight they will.
If people don't want to fight they won't.

A lot of frustration it seems at this game and if I was the board I would take heed and grip this situation quickly.

Well , here we go.........

Heres the whole build up and what went on.......

Quite a funny video in some parts....Id seen comments about the guy running on the pitch for the disallowed goal but missed it at the time ......**** me he ran half the length of the pitch .  Fair play.........only to look a plonk :laughcont:

Looks like Swansea fans were the aggravators  to me ,with City upping the level  and the taffs intent on trying to cause problems all through game

Although they seemed to go quiet at 2-0 down for a while :laughcont:

Yet again you fail to grasp the situation here, it's best you stay away from these topics as we all know your blinkered view

Yeah I saw incidents yesterday with supporters playing up, but equally witnessed incidents with police overstepping the lines too

By blinkered view do you mean my view that the people that are involved in these situation are completely ignorant knuckle draggers? I think you'll find a majority probably agree with me.

If the idiots had not been 'playing up' yesterday, then there would have been no need for the police to act at all. If they get one thing wrong in the face of severe provocation in a high pressure situation they are called out on here and all over the media by the very same people that excuse the idiots behaviour as simply a bit of high jinks. Priorities are very much in the wrong place here.

It's about crowd safety not about being pissed off you have to wait to get out!!

It wasn't safe yesterday for me and my family to leave as per normal at full time so we left at 87 minutes, this would be avoided if Swansea were kept back 10/15 minutes.

Well I left at full time and had no problems. You didn't have to leave early, you could have stayed behind for a little and had a beer and let the crowd disperse.

In the last on here people have moaned about us being locked in, so I'm not going to be a hypocrite and call for away supporters to be kept in.

A compromise would be for them to be let out but just keep the Atyeo gates locked.

Not practical on a freezing cold day to stay around for a beer whilst with a 5+8 year old until the crowds disperse.
