Poster on the other thread suggesting a large number of the  village idiots came without tickets and were eventually allowed IN

(Not long before the end fills up and the trouble occurs in the corners ?)

That's what I suspected but why would they be let in?

Round them up and straight back to TM surely?

Where any of our fans racist towards theirs?

There is always one isn’t there.

Do you really need explaining the difference between derogatory remarks, arguably distasteful at worst but not said with any genuine xenophobia, and the representation of a political party with truly genocidal desires... ironically who the English and Welsh fought side by side against, probably whilst in the barracks taking the piss out of eachother.

What you are doing is no less than to actually downplay the real, genuine racism and hatred that that sign would demonstrate by making any form of comparison.

I will review cctv for this Male and contact the original poster privately for any further information.

thank you for reporting it

Julie, I'm not one to knock the police, i know there have been loads of cuts etc which makes things difficult, and I'm at the other end so I may be wrong, but why on earth was there virtually no police presence inside the ground today? From where I was stood poor stewards were left to deal with the morons at the Swansea end.

Because, as per my post on the other thread, the police tend to station a fully geared riot squad in front of the Section 82 corner and stare at our own fans for 90 minutes, making us feel like criminals for standing up and watching a match, being eyeballed for 90 minutes by the ‘authorities’ and causing unnecessary tension.

Stick that riot squad between the home and away section and you prevent this incident.

The cynic in me would suggest that perhaps the ‘authorities’ wanted a reason to make this a bubble match again in future years.

Completely agree, I’m sure there’s even some thought behind if we play Cardiff next season as well this game can be used as a reason

Apparently, a load arrived without tickets and were let in around the 18 minute mark.

Also apparently, a load arrived from a police escort around the 18 minute mark.

Apparently about 150 with tickets were under police escort to the game and arrived late. As they were under official police escort why wasn't kick off delayed, as often happens at other grounds when officially escorted fans are going to be late?

If the kick of time had been delayed some of the ensuing trouble could have been avoided.

I don’t quite follow that logic

The village idiots who arrived and were involved in the confrontation would have had the full 90 mins to cause problems in the ground ........

And the police would have had to police everyone else in the ground for an additional period , on top....

Dont apply for a Superintendents Post ;)

You don't delay KO for 150-odd out of a crowd of 23k.

@JulieH this is a genuine question. Several years ago when we played at the Vetch me and my old dad were amongst several thousands who were kept in the ground after the game. It was a night game and we were then held junction by junction outside the ground as we walked back to our car. Dogs galore and helicopters above.

Today we see the late arrival of Swansea fans, understandably miffed to have missed the start, it then kicks off in the corner, the police aren’t about, a yoof runs down to the front, climbs over the barriers, swings punches then throws his white cap to the ground as he disappears back into the Dolman.

Then it seems it’s playtime for those who “fancy a bit” over in Greville Smythe.....

Can’t see how that can be called a success.....

Was this the same group that then divided themselves into two & then tried to get onto the pitch either side of the Atyeo?

And a whistle ....

I get the joke but just thought I'd add...

There's a video on the City Til I Die FB page of the handbags in the park post game. Rozzers on horse back and with dogs.

One Rozzer has his woof ready to go and accidentally drops the lead. Woof pegs it, not going for anyone, just wants to play. Cue rozzer chasing the dog and the dog having none of it.

FENTON!
