Colin doesn't like Gary Lineker

Seemed to be said with humour rather than angrily overall. Not a huge fan of his, but had a pretty tough week, and in fairness to him has come across well and genuine in the circumstances. He is kind of right here as well, Lineker can be a bit of a tosser.

Exactly. Really saw a different side to NW this weekend. The guy is human and i feel so sad for him. Never thought i'd see the guy cry, but I did. Good luck, Neil. You've gone up a fair bit in my reckoning.

Agreed never really liked the bloke but when you saw him on the pitch breaking  down it was hard not to feel for him. Pretty sure he was joking towards Lineker but you never know after recent views on Brexit and Gary’s strong views on that..

Was waiting for you to be on Warnock's side!!  I think you must be his lovechild !

Bit of an immature response....I just recognise what a great manager he is....he has managed teams for over 30 years and averages one promotion every four seasons....no one can match that, apologies if my support for him annoys you enough to post guff like the above...enjoy the rest of your Sunday...

I just don't get your constant support of the bloke in the face of criticism.

I actually rate him as a good championship manager.

You would have to have a heart of stone not to feel sympathy for Colin & Cardiff in the past week.

That said I would still much rather spend an afternoon chatting football & more with Gary Lineker than with Colin tbh.

You really wouldn’t ....having met both you’d have a much better afternoon with NW...a very genuine guy....Gary was sullen and boring....didn’t want to talk to real people...

Not surprised to hear that whatsoever. Comes across as an arrogant, bellend of a bloke. And if ever there was a person to define a champagne socialist...

Gary Lineker. Does the man ever shut up?

and to think he gets paid 2 million a year there are countless ex pros who would gladly do his job for a fraction of that and don't get me started on the BBC pleading poverty talking about cancelling over 75s free licence's the man is a pr*t.

Thinking of Lineker reminds me of the funny story about Gazza that I’ve not heard told since

Before games Linneker would always lie in a warm bath for a few mins to warm up his muscles as his way of warming up , getting muscles loose etc

Gazza was amused and intrigued by this and Lineker and a couple of others persuaded him to try it

Gazza did , But Gazza being Gazza soaked in a .........hot steaming bath .......for about half an hour

When he put his kit on and the game started , apparently it was hilarious as Gazza could hardly run without falling over and kept bleating to Lineker that he was *********

Without getting political I really don’t see why the. BBC should be responsible for the free over 75 licence, it was the government that brought this in ( a Labour government) maybe they should be covering the cost?

You're right the over 75s shouldn't be getting a free licence, the tv licence should be scrapped.

As for lineker he's just another virtue signalling **** sat in his ivory tower.

Warnock has been known to act like an idiot at times as we well know, but I believe given the chance he would engage with fans on an equal footing, where as I doubt very much lineker would give most people the time of day, the very people that afford him the luxury of sitting in said ivory tower.

Anyone who thinks Warnock is a great manager obviously cannot remember when he brought his Rotherham team to AG and we were treated to about half an hour of fake injuries (including a 10 minute fake concussion) as well as more diving than at a Lesbian orgy.

That is to name just one of many disgraces to the game of football he has served up over the years.

He may get results at this level, but at the expense of fair play and watchability.

I feel sorry gor Cardiff fans over Sala. I do not feel sorry for Neil Warnock.

Must be one of the best jobs around. Sits and watches all the games on a Saturday afternoon with his mates then talks about it after and gets paid a ridiculous amount.

the point I'm making is that if they didn't pay such ridiculous salaries to people like Linaker it wouldn't be an issue. and why should we be forced to pay for something we neither need nor want it should be optional if you want to watch the BBC you pay and yes on the face of it it's only 3 quid a week but that's not the point.
