From my knowledge of the music industry the agent approaches the band / performer and guarantees them a certain amount each night. The agent books and pays for the venue and is responsible for selling the tickets. If Juve had bought him for £40million and given him £200k wages for four years it would still amount to an £80 million deal. Personally I think he is a decent player for £20 million per season. They would have paid infinitely more tax than you have, they probably pay more tax in 6 months than you will all of your life - that’s their contribution.
