bcfcredandwhite
... was an absolute pest tonight - if QPR had kept him on things may have ended differently. Did anyone else notice that he didn’t appear to celebrate his goal? Loved him during his time at AG and always the professional. A bit disappointing to hear him boo’d when he was subbed. He wasn't being boo'd for anything to do with his relationship with us. Just because he strolled off the pitch at a snails pace, you get what you deserve for time-wasting. Booing they can take but dont think a penalty decision in the 93rd minute went down too well.

bcfc01
Strange decision to take him off. He was holding the ball up and winning headers in both boxes, looked a real threat. The Wally with the brolly must know what he's doing though...

cheshire_red
Never will understand why we didn't buy him. £500k not even a semi promising 19 year olds fee. How we would love him on the bench as another club, or in away games starting up front on his own battling the two centre halves like tonight. Red white and red
To be fair, the guy could barely run after 10 minutes. By the time he was taken off, he could barely walk.
Davefevs
Smith had a good game but I thought Wells’s movement was very good tonight. Great movement off Pisano for the goal...good header too. With Freeman too, the three of them were very good.

It started off as panto style booing, then there were a few cheers, but he took the p**s by taking too long to go off, slightly tarnished the memory for me but he plays for somebody else now so suppose it's to be expected. Red Homer
I thought it strange that he was applauded as he started to come off, before the applause turned to boos when he took about an hour to walk off the pitch. I was slightly confused at the applause - politely applaud at the warm up bit as soon as the ref blows his whistle he is one of the enemy and shouldn't be applauded. As for Freeman - yes, he was integral to our double winning season, but if the rumours are true that he refused to play to force through his move to QPR then I'm surprised he wasn't given more grief throughout.
