For anyone who’s interested, just noticed on the OS that until Sunday, adult home shirts are reduced to £25 and youths £25.

Just bought one for my Nephew and it was £45 plus £15 for his name etc. Should have waited for 2 more days FFS

Not a great fan of the Red "boro" kit - but used the season ticket cash reward you get and bought one for £13.50 which for a replica kit is not to bad... just a shame it's not one of my favourite kits.

Same here. Using my rewards credit, just got the whole adult home kit (NOT to wear together, apart from 5 a side!) for a total, including delivery, for £21..!

Not my favourite home kit, but could become legendary at this current rate..!

That was my thinking, I know we are not allowed to speak the unspeakable in case we jinx things... but....

I wouldn't buy one even if they were £1. Walking around with a 'kin big advert on me, particularly for a gambling concern.

Millions of people, world wide do.

I think this thread is more for their sake than yours, but thank you for sharing your feelings with us.

get it signed by one of the players and frame it or something, shouldn't be too hard to sort out and makes for a good decoration around a room/office or something

I might have bought one at that price if it didn't have a betting company's logo on it. The godson will be getting one though. I like how they've just put 'Robins' on the kids' jerseys.

Write Mifflin underneath it and pretend its a paper company

You boycott a shirt because it displays the name of an online casino (as opposed to a betting company, although I accept that is being pedantic), whilst we compete in the “Sky bet” Championship,  but I’d would strongly suspect that you endorse the use of child labour and sweatshops, by wearing branded sportswear of some form or other.

That’s a very fragile moral compas you live by there..!

He has no option when it comes to the league, as we are all football fans and want to watch our team, but also he isn’t going to a game and being a walking advert.

He can decide not to buy a shirt, and thus not wear a brand he doesn’t want to support.

Please don’t also make presumptions on what people do or don’t do.

That certainly is a pedantic distinction! ?

I'm not going to go down the "you don't even know me!" route. None of us are perfect (or well off enough to only purchase goods or services that aren't morally dodgy in one way or another) but we do what we can. I believe that it's perfectly acceptable to point out something that you don't like whilst not living in a 100% ethical bubble, it's all but impossible.

I do think that there's room for people to object to the proliferation of in-play betting (and online casino) adverts these days. After all, the advertising of tobacco products has been banned in the UK for some time and both are extremely addictive. Hopefully the new legislation will make a difference.
