The Red Planet
Did you hear the interview with SL on BBC R5L this morning ? If not, find it here. It is quite early on in the programme. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0070lk9/episodes/downloads More of the same really - " we have long term plans" and "trying to keep the club financially sustainable" etc. Not that I am saying that it is boring - far from it. I am hugely impressed by SL sticking with LJ throughout the bad times last season and he does talk a bit about that. Good to see our club getting more media coverage as a result of our current form. If it keeps up like this in the league, forget "flying under the radar" from here on.
Boston Red
It was a good interview, though a little bland and cliched. Highlight was when Garry Richardson told a story, which he read in a non-league magazine, that when Lee was a kid he hid in the kit basket in the dressing room so he could listen to one of Gary Johnson's team talks. Steve Lansdown laughed and said "Yes, Lee would fit." Also, in the post Wolves press conference, LJ said he knew all about Nuno's long diagonal balls, which won Wolves the game today, because when they were doing their coaching badges Lee used to hit them for him.
