He was in the team for the first match I went to against Bolton in 1970.  According to Wikipedia he only played 4 times for us before going to Torquay then Newcastle.   It also says he is still a goalkeeping coach at Bristol Manor Farm at the age of 68!

Saw him save a last min pen at QPR, one of the 4 games for us .

Was at Hartcliffe School with him and his younger brother Robert (same school age as myself), also called Jock??? A very nice lad who was as hard as nails but very fair and personable, I know that Robert was very upset by the possibility of Mike having to retire from football. Also remember Tony Blair (yes him) putting Jock in his all time Newcastle team.
