Nogbad the Bad Posted March 17, 2019 Report Share Posted March 17, 2019 Skuse is a tidy enough player who can look good in a good team. He never looks dreadful, nor does he ever really shine. Most tellingly he has no outstanding qualities to positively affect a struggling team. Ipswich have been average to poor for several seasons now and Skuse seems almost certain to be part of a relegation team again. Just as City were relegated in Skuse's final season at AG - a season where he was largely anonymous and would surely want to forget as far as his individual contribution and performances were concerned. The love in from the ipswich fan strikes me as a bit OTT, but if you are watching lots of irritating underperforming players season after season maybe Mr. Consistently Average is more likely to emerge as your hero.
