Port Said Red
I was just wondering if the club have considered staying in over tonight and making their way to Middlesbrough on Sunday or Monday? I would have thought that if they can get a suitable base, it would give the physios more time to work on any knocks etc.

(Perhaps they took up NTTDS’s flight offer!!)

Lanterne Rouge
I seem to remember Cotts used to do it a fair bit but I don`t think the players were that keen on it - they`d rather have been back with their families IIRC - so LJ changed it when he came in. Do I remember that we would often travel up on a Thursday for long away Saturday games too under SC or did I imagine that? I must admit, when I saw the re-arranged Boro date I did wonder if part of the thinking was that we could stay over if we wanted to.
Murraysrightplum
Would have made sense. An opportunity for team bonding etc on a mini tour. But what do I know?
Northern Red
They did it for the West Brom and Wigan games earlier this season. We lost them both.

RedM
I wondered if they were staying or returning and flying as they would normally do. It’s the latter as when interviewed after Korey says something like ‘ when I get home tonight’.
Davefevs
They travelled back home....supported photos on twitter at the services. Pretty sure I read somewhere that they are flying to Boro.

ashtonphil mk2
Spare a thought for Scotty Murray who has to drive his kit van up to Middlesbrough after having come back last night....
elhombrecito
They've flown up, and Peter Carol are ready and waiting at the airport. Now that's service.
