Did Flint go over to our fans at the end?

Nah. Wasn’t sure if he was going to or not as he was out quite a long time.

Last off from them but had stayed centre circle (near where he would’ve been at whistle tbf) talking to our lot. Korey was lost over towards us as obviously a bit slower making his way onto pitch and had been talking to Flint.

Flint will be delighted with his signing on fee and increase in salary and who can blame anyone for moving for better money?

Quite. The right move for him was also the right move for us.

Will never forget his time in BS3 though. Up there with Psycho, Biff, Shaun Taylor and Boom Boom for me.

Certainly not me. Great move for him. On paper. More paper.

But Webster is a much better footballer

This. We've got Webby now who looks the dogs gonads, plus a few £Million and Flinty got his big pay day. Everyone's happy.

I would rather remember Flinty fondly and rejoice at having Webster.

I got slagged off for saying that Flint was a  throwback to the CBs of the 70s. A head it and kick it merchant. He did well to get such a lucrative deal given his footballing talents.

In Webster City have a very talented CB, far more skilled than Flint ever was or will be.

Jesus H Christ I aged during that second half.....

...me too, I was about 50 minutes older by the end of it!

Joking aside though, what a bloody result.... they hit the post twice and really should have scored at least one....it’s going our way all of a sudden, good grief, what could happen....

Maybe people will stop banging on about how much we hit the woodwork now!

They were both inside of the post today as well ?

Flint is / was very similar to Shaun Taylor. Bit of a legend and a leader and a goal scorer but wow Webster is so much better than both. John Stones ish

“...a superstar in the centre of our defence

...stole him from Suffolk and he has been immense

...that’s Adam Webster, that’s Adam Webster...”

...suggested tune: ‘That’s Entertainment’ -  The Jam....

We'll reminisce about him for years. One of the most memorable CBs in my lifetime. Hard now though not to mention his name follwed shortly by Adam Webster.
