New Portway Parkway Station

Not sure if this will of any use to anyone other than commuters but see planning permission has recently be granted for a new one platform train station to link up with the current Portway park and ride site, how many years until it opens is another thing, but guess at least the planning has been approved

But once it’s there it makes the henbury loop more attractive. They could also add in double tracks at various stations to allow more frequent service if required.

I actually think this is great news as a Portway P&R user myself.
