Based on today only.

Looks completely lost. Glued to his line. Ball under his body for when they hit the post. Glued for the goal.

Appreciate he has done ok previous, but based on this doesn't look good enough at all.

Based on his loan spell only Tony Dinning should have played for Arsenal

Please let’s not have this thread turn into bashing the lad. He’s young and has been thrust into an intense battle for the playoffs, in the very unlikely adversarial circumstance of both our senior goalkeepers being injured. There isn’t anywhere to hide when you’re in goal.

Not sure how he played today as I wasn't there but he's looked class in our other games recently. No need to bash him at all, as you say.

So he's done ok previously but on the one game he's not good enough? Do those previous games not count then?

I thought he did Ok especially considering plenty other players went missing.

How quick people are on here to criticise. Where was Pack and Brownhill?

The lad is learning his trade and has been thrown in as we’ve nothing else and he will make the odd wrong decision. LJ not doing very well with keepers

Not sure how LJ is to blame for this. Any manager in the world would struggle with their best 2 keepers injured at the same time.

It’s circumstances that nobody really could foresee that has him playing at the moment so nobody should take the blame,we have to suck it up and getting on his back will do nobody any good

Absurd criticism of a young keeper who has done his best, considering he has been thrust into a first team place before it was ever intended. He is a work in progress, who has done exceptionally well, and deserves no criticism.  We have been extremely unlucky with injuries to 2 top class keepers...........give the kid a break FFS.

Couldn't blame Max for the first goal. Their player should never have been allowed to shoot.

The cross that hit the post was a worry, and he doesn't look confident on crosses, which given the predictable aerial bombardment at the end was a problem.

That said by comparison, the Wigan keeper was a piece of work. He made a couple of great saves but the play acting and time wasting was pathetic.
