Lez
Based on today only. Looks completely lost. Glued to his line. Ball under his body for when they hit the post. Glued for the goal. Appreciate he has done ok previous, but based on this doesn't look good enough at all.

SedRA
He’s been hesitant to dominate the box and be decisive in all the games I’ve seen. Not going to be to down on him as he’s our young inexperienced 3rd choice keeper, but also not particularly excited by him.

The Fat Controller
There are a lot of players playing poorly today. O'Leary is adversely affected by the poor performances of those in front of him. He shouldn't be having so much to do and the experienced defence in front of him should not be putting him under extra pressure.

The Nest Egg
Please let’s not have this thread turn into bashing the lad. He’s young and has been thrust into an intense battle for the playoffs, in the very unlikely adversarial circumstance of both our senior goalkeepers being injured. There isn’t anywhere to hide when you’re in goal.

Fuber
Tactics more at fault for today than Max. Five at the back at a team shakey defensively was more baffling IMHO.
cidercity1987
Says it all that we had a defender coming from nowhere to almost save us in the last min, with Max in no mans land

petehinton
maenpaa in goal and we win that. Didn’t come for crosses and dominate his box enough. Not especially his fault as he’s young but a more experienced keeper in goal and we win that today.
Major Isewater
Max doesn’t dominate his area which is perhaps normal given his frame and age but other than that he is very good . He is a work in progress and we should get right behind the lad as he develops .

shelts
How quick people are on here to criticise. Where was Pack and Brownhill? The lad is learning his trade and has been thrown in as we’ve nothing else and he will make the odd wrong decision. LJ not doing very well with keepers

maxjak
Absurd criticism of a young keeper who has done his best, considering he has been thrust into a first team place before it was ever intended. He is a work in progress, who has done exceptionally well, and deserves no criticism. We have been extremely unlucky with injuries to 2 top class keepers...........give the kid a break FFS. Dr Balls
Couldn't blame Max for the first goal. Their player should never have been allowed to shoot. The cross that hit the post was a worry, and he doesn't look confident on crosses, which given the predictable aerial bombardment at the end was a problem. That said by comparison, the Wigan keeper was a piece of work. He made a couple of great saves but the play acting and time wasting was pathetic.
