Rudolf Hucker
I recorded and watched back the Sky coverage of the City v WBA match and in commentary, it was briefly mentioned that Kalas had played for Chelsea at Anfield in the 2014 clash - the one when Gerrard slipped, costing Liverpool any chance of the title. I wasn't aware that he'd played (why would I?) but out of curiosity looked up the teams: Liverpool 22 Mignolet 2 Johnson 38. Flanagan (substituted for Aspasat 81 minutes) 8 Gerrard 37 Skrtel 17 Sakho 21 Leiva (substituted for Sturridge 58 minutes) 24 Allen 7 Suárez 31 Sterling 10 Coutinho Substitutes 1 Jones 4 K Touré 5 Agger 6 Alconchel 9 Aspas 15 Sturridge 20 Cissokho Chelsea 23 Schwarzer 28 Azpilicueta 3. Cole 12. Mikel 2 Ivanovic 33. Kalas 21. Matic 8. Lampard 19 Ba (substituted for Torres 84 minutes) 15. Salah (substituted for Willian 60 minutes) 14. Schürrle (substituted for Cahill 77 minutes) Substitutes 9. Torres 16 Van Ginkel 22. Willian 24 Cahill 27. Aké 40. Hilario 47. Baker Referee: Martin Atkinson Attendance: 44,726 Tomáš was certainly in exalted company that day! Mourinho gave him his full debut in that match and apparently, he put in a starring performance; according to the Mail "Tomas Kalas - Fluffed one headed clearance and missed a great chance to score but, otherwise, this was an excellent debut. 8". To date, he's played just one other match as a starter for Chelsea! The man is certainly a star for us and I'd love to see us make his loan into a permanent move. Davefevs
I remember that game well, for the wrong reasons....but recall Kalas making his debut, and hoping his inexperience would benefit Liverpool. It didn’t, he had a fine game.

BCFCGav
If we can get him on a permanent I’d be buzzing. Could be difficult if we don’t go up, but it would be a major statement of intent for next season.
