Disagree tbh. We’ll be in the top six at 4.55pm come what may. I see this as a “go for it” free hit.

Hardly a free hit. It’s a six pointer, let’s not pretend otherwise and a point today would deny a key rival two points and could make a critical difference to us in the final table.

A point today would be a better result for us than them in my view.

I’ve seen some shit officials in my lifetime but these lot are taking the piss. Absolute disgrace.

I would say if one thing has been constant in my years of watching City, it’s the standard of refereeing has varied between shite and average, with only a few decent ones each season.

I think the team LJ picked suggests that he didn’t think we would grind it out today. He’s looking to score and win the game imo. I agree with him.

Bit better care of the ball and this is there for the taking.  El-ghazi left a bit too much 1on1 with Hunt....needs Weimann to not get dragged into Taylor and over-committing.

Brownhill getting through lots of sensible work, giving us good shape.

Fam coming into the game, but not holding it up too well.

Oh I agree he’s going for it and I don’t necessarily think that’s a bad thing. Just not convinced by the “free hit” suggestion. That suggests we have nothing to lose, but we clearly do.

Decent first half, could easily be 2-2.

No idea if the goal was offside or not, but with Trevor kettle as the fourth official I wouldn’t be surprised if he told the linesman to put his flag up...

Need to keep going, their defence is there to be got at

Main reflections at half time:

How did Taylor not score?

How did Uncle Albert not score?

Great save from Max

This game has got goals in it

Afraid we may see a red card or two in the second half

LJ needs to earn his keep now with a brilliant half time team talk to settle things down and then make some clever substitutions

Ht. 0-0

Typical City away, fairly even first half, Fam header 1-0 second half

It's the lovely Trevor Kettle!

He’s the 4th official isn’t he.  Scott Duncan is ref.  Obviously missing PJ.

Red card my worry too.
