Either way the point is the bloke has pace over a five yards that give linesman problems As the FIFA note says it is recommended that the flag should not be raised if the Linesman is unsure...A benefit that rarely applies to Weimann for that reason Taylor's v Wigan was offside, a correct call. Pisano's v QPR was harsh and maybe wrong. Weimann has 10 goals. Plus the 4 disallowed. I think a minimum of 2 were onside and perhaps even 3 or 4. The 6 goals disallowed was in total. Ie 4 for Weimann, 1 for Taylor and 1 for Pisano. Maybe I wasn't so clear. We have had half a dozen disallowed this season, 5 of which were offside. Will read the FIFA notes though. Google some other clubs too- I had a google and seems West Ham had one controversially disallowed in 2014 at Old Trafford- Cottee was wondering why no benefit of doubt to attacker.
