where's the joy Posted April 14, 2019 Report Share Posted April 14, 2019 i wuz there and felt very privileged to witness us becoming champions. i never liked Cotterill as a person but his small squad philosophy and his all out attacking mentality meant that we were way ahead of all our competitors that year. to not invest in a 100 point team the next season was madness by the board. one extra top quality striker and we could have gone up again. yes we shipped goals but we were powder puff up front once we got into the championship ludicrous to take so long tearing it all down and abandon all that he built there will never be a statue outside the ground for Cott's but boy did he give us a season to remember Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
