steviestevieneville
Few of us went up to Anfield the following Saturday to pay our respects. The ground was packed and couldn’t get in, or anywhere near the shankly gates. We went to the arkles for a few pints and got chatting to some liverpool . One of them told me how him and his brother were using advertising boards as stretchers and broke down in tears. I still get goosebumps thinking about it. I asked him to put my city scarf on the shankly gates for me. He asked me if he could keep it. Very emotional day. It could of been any football club that day. We all got our rivalries but at times like that we’re all part of the football family . Rest in peace the
