weepywall
I was going to back Cardiff at 10/3 to win and then felt guilty as you lot wanted Brighton to win, bad decision on my part, then I went for both teams to score in Barcelona v Manchester, bad decision again !!! cidercity1987
Brighton have Newcastle H, a much better GD and a game in hand. Whether the latter is beneficial to the GD we'll see but certainly not over yet.

Coppello
Rivarly aside, it is a bloody good achievement by Warnock and Co in keeping that side up. They've really shown up Fulham who were fantastic last season.

Mr Popodopolous
Huge shock on the way in the other quarter final. Ajax 2-1 up in Turin v Juventus, from a goal down! With away goals, Juventus cannot get extra time and need 2 in the final quarter of the game to be getting through. Great to see- an academy, a philosophy like theirs. Last season their great young side will be together too, we all know it'll be picked apart in the summer- such is Bosman and modern football. Mr Popodopolous
I still think Cardiff will drop incidentally- Liverpool at home, Man United away? 2 likely losses. Fulham away may offer some hope and so might Crystal Palace at home- but the latter are better on the road and the former probably an alright chance of a win- their style could combat Fulham looking to play like last season...physicality, counterattacking and directness set up away v home could have a crack. Mr Popodopolous
Just now, TomF said: Brighton’s fixtures aren’t much better Yikes, you're right- just took a quick look! Unlikely though it sounds they can counter on Wolves away a bit, obviously Newcastle at home their best chance of a win but can see a draw there. Don't want Cardiff staying up! I don't even think they budgeted on staying up or had it deep down as a must succeed, clear expectation etc.
