Bristol City v Reading Match Day 42

I think if I were a Reading fan I'd be pretty annoyed Korey didnt get a card of some sort.

I think the injury might possibly have saved City from being down to 10.

I wonder if a player has ever been red carded while on a stretcher?!

There was. Charlton player around 16 years ago. Can't remember any more specifics though

Chris Honor

Its not, it’s a current squad member based on the things he’s saying? Just talked about playing in the under 23s with Walsh

Isn’t it Joe Morrell?

That makes more sense

Yeh. Or Morrell? Guy's talking about possibly being in a midfield two with Walsh. Says he's played with him U23s.

Not sure it is. Bloke is talking like he's a current player.

Sorry you’re right, I’m not listening I just saw it on Twitter. Think Honor is doing a different broadcast

Probably shows how sleepy the game has got that we're debating who's in the Comms. But, I would say Morrell is doing well. Speaking well, clearly intelligent, even has quite a nice voice to listen to.

we are missing Eliasson...

Yeh. Dasilva is giving them problems on the left, put Eliasson on the right and give them two things to worry about.

We aren’t winning this game with this formation

Not sure about that. Creating lot openings, just not putting them away or finding the last pass.

We’ve been better side but choices when in good positions haven’t quite been good enough. But for a very good headed clearance we would be in front.

Hunt has been horrific

Hardly. He’s not really done much of note but he’s also done little wrong.

no ones having a bad game it’s just not clicking together yet

Some of his crossing and first touches have killed us. A lot of joy coming from down his side.

Quite something from Reading.

No team ever sets up to lose, so the kindest thing you can say is they would be ‘happy with a point’.

Very hard to break down teams who set up this.

There is no quality in their side.

We have played worse first half’s at home this season in fairness. Shaded it, been ok, nothing special, possibly done enough to be ahead but not by much. Equally Reading look like they can nick one, so hoping it clicks in the s3cond half.

We need that attacking midfielder who knows how to unlock defences, shame we don't have one.

Oh wait...

Good solid start but we look so slow down the right hand side

Hunt just isn't a wing back for me. We really could do with someone who can get at their full backs down that side

Check out his assists from wing back .

Well, 0-0 at the break not a disaster, but we need to find a winner. Think Reading look a little dangerous on the break. Is this a game made for Kasey Palmer?

That quite isn’t true. They have created a couple of chances on the break with a clear game plan. The one that went across the face was very close. O’Leary also made a decent save - although it was a City error that helped them get the chance.

I agree that we struggle to breakdown sides at home though. But we should have scored so all is not lost - a goal would really open it up.

Exactly what I've been saying. And how we are setting up is playing right into their hands

Johnson is being overly cautious here. To narrow because he knows that it is unlikely they will break us down unless we make a real bad mistake.

Fortune favours the brave . A point isn't good enough today.  Physiologically a draw here will only serve to inspire and ease the pressure on Boro and Derby at 3pm .

Get some width down the right and let's open this game up

He needs support though. How we are set up today is not giving him any support at all.

To narrow. This is so frustrating to watch .

Reading really are there for the taking....but we have no width down the right.

We always revert to going down the left.....have done it all season.....there have been at least 2 chances to break clearly down the right and the CBs have opted left......

Bright half for me. Unlucky not to be ahead. They’re quite dangerous on their occasional breaks though.

Dont understand some of the negativity on here.
