Mr Popodopolous
Right. In League football for us, O'Leary has made 12-TWELVE- starts. Plus one sub appearances and a few Cup appearances dotted about. In the previous 3 seasons he played in the 5th, 6th and 5th tier of English football. Half-season loan, full season loan and basically half-season loan once again. Is or should he be beyond criticism? No, absolutely not- sure he wouldn't want that either. Given that huge leap though, under 20 games for us and how keepers mature a lot later than outfield players- often late 20's is when they hit their peak, traditionally, some of this criticism is well overboard IMO. His loan history is interesting and may explain why he mistakes some of his mistakes. If he was / is regarded as a first team player, why wasn’t he on loan to a League 1 or 2 club last season. I know he’s relatively young but he would have progressed more if he’d had a few games in League 1 or
