Their gaffer has said they could be top 6 within 18 months.... be some turnaround that

but the exact type of shite there fans will lap up and believe

I seriously believe the nutter they have in charge will be lucky if he’s still at the club in 6 months. His previous rant when they lost the last league game, sending players home from training........all it needs are a couple more bad results and the wheels could come off?

There's a video doing the rounds on FB of gasheads singing to Tomlin. To cut it short, the final line is "and when he played for City, he was ****ing shite".

They ain't wrong tbf.

I dunno, on loan Tomlin was great and oh look I'm on sky v Huddersfield Tomlin was a world beater...

But yeah, tbf SP it's a fair observation over all.

A very few players are worthy of a place in the team just for a moment of magic, a brilliant goal, an genius back heel to set up a goal etc.

Tomlin comes into that category along with Lee Trundle, JET, and Jacki to name a few.

They are never going to track back and do the hard graft, but it's seeing players like that that puts bums on seats.

Tomlins goal against Huddersfield and the last minute free kick at Fulham alone made it all worthwhile

ps I doubt that their managers at the time would agree!

They wouldn't say no to that kind of "****ing shite" being in their squad right now though!

Watch the pass which Tomlinson played to assist Peterborough’s first goal last night. It displayed vision and ability which few possess. Their second goal was a belter although Tomlinson was subbed by then.

6851  :laugh::laugh::laugh:   what's the boycott for now, lads ?

They’ve got some some nerve banging on and on about their ‘amazing’ support, supposedly turning up in numbers week after week, “we deserve better cuz of our crowds” blah blah blah..

That is shocking.

Where have they all gone...the supporters who claim they never turn their back their club? ?

Fickle bunch.

Looking at those numbers, the sags must have about 25% of their crowd made up of non-season ticket holders.

Let's be generous and call that 2000 people. Let's be even more generous and say they pay an average ticket price of £20. That means their total (non season ticket) match day ticket revenue is very roughly £40000.

Not even £1 million over 23 home league games.

Or to put it another way, if half our average crowd at the gate buy 2 pints of Thatchers and a pie on match day, we put more money into the Club than the Sags do in pay on the day ticket revenue (assuming they haven't slipped in thanks to a dodgie season ticket or friendly steward of course!! ??

Tehy are still going on about Wycombe! :grr:  http://gaschat.co.uk/thread/13767/ring-any-bells

Agree with Adams views 100% - haven't seen an anti-football team like Wycombe for quite a few years. This isn't sour grapes for losing but did anyone else also feel that the Wycombe players also (probably under instruction) hoofed more balls over the stands than in an average rugby game ?!

Yeah, Wycombe were appalling. I'd rather finish 20th then have to watch them every week.

They played like a poor Conference side - sadly, we played just as bad- but at least we didn't stall the game with playacting, time wasting and although we did do a bit of 'hoof' ball it was nowhere near as much as what they did. Their RB could only do one thing, hoof it as far as he could- usually directly upwards! We were appalling that day but at least we know we are capable of a better standard normally. I suspect that is how Wycombe play every week.

It’s probably because Wycombe deservedly rib them for ‘celebrating staying up’ on Wycombe’s pitch before ‘giving the gift’ of total humiliation and relegation out of the football league the following weekend. Sags have a problem counting with their 6 digits on each hand. Couldn’t do the relegation maths, the actual ‘Wembly’ attendance maths, and away support maths in comparison to the ‘gert Ted’s’.

Can't believe we only drew with posh.. For those who went, how'd Tomlin get on?

Well, it’s simple really, the non-obsessed probably sang enough songs about City over the 90 minutes that people thought they must be City. Grrrr ‘Gert pesky Ted’s’ disguised as faithful and truers!

If they can't manage 7k attendees in Div 3, What are their gates and season ticket sales likely to be in Div 4 next year?

Will Cockman still be their manager if he takes them down?

Will Wally still be trying to find a willing buyer (mug) for the club or will they fall into administration and reform 2 divisions below and surpass their visit to the conference?

Will they still need the shiny new stadium they all crave for in the basement of the football league?

It must be horrible being a Sag at the moment, but to be fair, when wasn't it?
