Things not going so well for Hollowhead.

Over the summer is failed to get as many jobs as Rovers have failed to sign players.

His regular column in the EP, reportedly where ‘The former Bristol Rovers and Blackpool manager gives his insight into both camps’ is all about him, him, him.

Still an enjoyable read though...

Wow, I thought you were exaggerating, but no!

1) A dig at Darryl Clarke

2) An ad for Blackpool B&Bs

3) A paragraph about Rovers

4) A paragraph pretending to be about Blackpool but actually about him

5) Hollowhead not getting a job

6) Hollowhead not getting a job and it’s not fair

7) Hollowhead not getting a job yet I’m really good

8 ) Hollowhead losing out on  a job to someone who can coach

What an ego!

He's obviously got too big an ego to do what Gary Johnson did and set his sights a bit lower like he did when taking the Torquay job.

And you could pop down the road to Fleetwood for a pre-match pint and some bum fun like your fellow locked out thousands did last season....?

Don't worry, the season is going to start soon.

9.5 months of:

Fewers bragging about their "amazing" away support despite a mountain of evidence to the contrary

Wally repeatedly saying "these things take time" at every interview

Cockman complaining about a "lack of quality in da foinal turd" in post match interviews

The gas fans desperately trying to break 10K at home - which they only will manage when the bigger clubs come visiting (i.e. Pompey, Sunderland and the like)

The fewers desperately asking any and all away supporters if they prefer the gas to city in the hope of some validation

More than a few incidents of their fanbase misbehaving - the smart money would go on incidents of fighting, racist abuse, and theiving from their own.

A couple (just that) of Nicholls goals - PROLIFIC!

The gas players cheating and diving to get a high proportion of opposition sent off

Gas fans bleating to national media how relevant they also are if WE get a cup run

Hopefully also:

The gas looking over their shoulders for the first few months of the season as Bury and Bolton catch up

Administration?:fingerscrossed:

I am sure I have missed some!

Just see on asschat that some of the fewers would like to get Taylor back, then one sensibly says that we wouldn't sell to them. Does he not realise it was their owner that said no more deals between the two clubs?

Not to mention the fact that they would actually have to pay a fee*.

*Just to explain for the 15ers that visit the site, that is a process where the team recieving the player actually pays money to the other team.

I think that there’s a distinct possibility that if Mark Ashton negotiates any transfer with Wael, we could end up as the majority shareholders in the Arab Jordan Investment Bank. And owning Wael’s watch.

Just think, even Nick Higgs managed to stitch him up by flogging him a dead horse, so the list of possibilities that MA could come up with are endless.

If Wally was an investor* on Dragons' Den, he would end up giving MA a Jordanian bank, his Chelsea season ticket, a lovely watch and any remaining equity in the Mem for a 1% share in the Ashton Snake Oil company.

*which, for obvious reasons, he wouldn't be.

Bless em they are seemingly celebrating 30 years since their only but if success since they were founded. Running it throughout the coming season to soften the blow for when relegation day comes along.

Must be tough supporting such a shit club when you have an open top bus parade for coming 2nd to Barnet in Non League, and now having to go back 30 years to celebrate your only honour of note in 130 odd years. ?

Ahhh, but you are forgetting we were 'under 40 years old' using #gaslogic so clearly this is a major milestone in their history.

Standard stuff for the 15ers.  They love mocking teams that are in financial trouble.

The 1982 jibes alone would make me have zero sympathy for them if they ever went bust.  But at least 1982 makes sense from a rivals point of view, being that unsympathetic to teams like Bolton and Bury just shows what scummy people 15ers are.

When Pompey were in dire trouble many years back, the sags weren’t slow in trying to sniff out some of their players on the cheap - Bristol Rovers - a despicable club, morals of an alley cat, squatting vultures who will swoop into any situation where a football club is in trouble ...
