Bristol R*vers dustbin thread

I always thought that every football club had an equal share of 'stupid' fans.  But almost every post on the Rovers forum is utter dross, they don't seem to be capable of saying anything even remotely sensible.

Makes some people on here look like bloody Einstein!

Brilliant! Despite not owning the land at UWE, they're making 15mil from student accommodation, as well as a hotel. And they are going to get 20mil from the Mem.

Clearly it hasn't occurred to them that if student digs would make 15mil then the UWE might do that themselves, or indeed expect market value for the land, as for selling the Mem for housing, seems lost on them that people generally expect houses to be built before they pay for them, giving no time for them to build their new home.

Re: (gregsgas..post179) - worried about protests 'tarnishing' their 'reputation' ..

He's right of course, Mr Higgs has got that well and truly covered nobody does that better! ...except maybe a pissed up 'manager' in a pub 'sing-a-longa Darrell' session, or a terrace horse-puncher or two..

Reputation? What reputation? ...Their 'prowed' one perhaps? - it couldn't get worse if they tried.

Go for it Gas - as 'laughing Gas' goes nothing, not even that nitrous-oxide stuff, hits the spot like you lot can... You're foo-king hilarious! :)

'Superglue where the pound goes'

Have any of them been to a shop in the past few years?

Hopefully he'll make his way to the flagship store he's identified with all those hundreds of trolleys. For when he gets there he'll find it CLOSED last month.....

What an absolute bellend !

Driving past a shop with some shite music playing - I bet that had everyone running for cover !!!

Looks like the Sainsbury store in OddDown Bath.... Ironically one of the later super-stores opened by the company in the region.

Of course soon after this one they decided to halt new store development plans...

Tough titty Rovers, so near yet so far.
