Think you'd find we wouldn't want to share even if you'd built a camp nou...that's not deluded just reality. On another note I think City have bought really well and you'll have a top half finish..(christ that hurt typing that)...we'll survive league one which most Rovers fans would accept for now...

Christ lord you must have some time on your hands pal.. Scrolling all the back to May of last year.. Fair fo0king play!

Errr-hem---never saw a city fan in the tote in all the seventies/early eighties unless accompanied by a rovers fan/fans...did see a lot ROVERS in the East End in 73/74 though...

Cheers! I do... working from home has its benefits...I said it in may, will say it again...I don't get any sadistic pleasure from having a go at you lot- a bit of banter is good and, to be fair you  lot have some ammunition to play with...no knuckle dragging here, rather see City do well than say..Cardiff...I laugh a lot at the more subtle humour here and wish you well...

Dissagree .. without sounding pompous or anything like that .. we never seen you on the Tote End and when we did it was all over .. and I am old enough to remember. . And we held a few parties in The East End .. The 70s and 80s were good times for the Gas .. then you got your act together. . Again I'm no hooligan but was around then .. We even joined up with you lot on a fair few occasions. . We'd be met by your lot and escorted into The East End by your lot .. Yep .. unbelievable but true .. Millwall .. Man Utd .. Those 2 games back in the day were attended by us .. plus a few times against you in the Gloucester Cup .. so when I hear these stories about City back in the day about taking the Tote End I always sigh ..

I heard different from a gas supporting uncle mate. Despite the fact i hate and cringe and fans giving it the biggun and only go to footy for that, i was under tge impression rovers had a shit mob who always took a beating against city but then i wasnt around at the time.

I also find it cringey the amount of wannabes at rovers who only go away for the image and pretend they get involved in the fighting. Even at the JPT there was a bit of a brawl with fans not neccassarily hooligans but of course rovers claimed it was the city firm and claimed they took over the cross hands a family pub :rofl2br:

Just another thing rovers claim they have up on us.

But it's exactly the same as every other Gas kit, there's only so many variations of blue and white quarters.

How very true, but I think you'll find this season they've gone for white and blue quarters just to shake it up a bit.

Ummm... Dream on.

Late 60's, early 70's might have been before your time but I was in the middle of the Tote with hundreds of City. Think I recall a 5-0 evening a Glos. Cup Match where the entire centre of the Tote End celebrated by invading the tulip beds behind the goal.

Can't recall the year but segregation was introduced in the 70's and that year only a few City, including me, went in the Tote just before kick off. To be fair we were off it pretty sharpish.

With Man U, you were tolerated in the East End - just not the centre blocks :-)

Your lot did get their act together from around '71, had a decent firm, came on the East End in the '74 Gloucester cup, stiil got ran on the pitch after though and your escort was attacked near the tannery, that was the best your lot have ever managed,  the '80's till the present day has been a total piss take,  just embarrassing,  always ready with an excuse, "you've got too many, we were washing our hair, we forgot etc"

There was never a join-up against Millwall, where the **** did that come from? as for the Man U game in '74-'75 the gas did come on the EE, but were told in no uncertain terms to shut the **** up when they got a bit mouthy.

Never try to rewrite history when there's sharp fuckers like me around.

Small window when the games were played in the same division at Eastville, my first Derby game was '74. I remember a large mob of City on the Tote that never moved until the Police got involved. I remember the game Vs Man Utd and the Gas were there with a special pass , but don't honestly recall them being on the EE at any time. Spurs,Arsenal (every year it seemed) West Ham, Chelsea (those boys could jump fences) even Sunderland , but not Rovers.

I remember Villa filling the East End and could not be moved.Millwall tried it in about 73 ? but were given their marching (running) orders and i and most of the Withywood,Malago and Knowle boys regularly stood in the Tote end after they had legged it.

So my own experiences in that grubby end in the 70's were just a dream, then!    Usual gas selective memory.

Now for some serious 'adventure', I suspect that my little group of ragamuffins weren't the only ones to get shot round the back of the East End when the scouse scallies rolled into AG with air guns.

Well the gas can say what they want they have no credibility as far as im concerned due their history of exaggerated or completely incorrect information. Recent examples wally and his wealth.

what was it danny baker said about Bristol rovers fans? ooohh yea that they were compulsive liars, seems to sum them up quite well,

Oh and I've seen the rovers "mob" first hand attacking women and children then running when they got a little aggro from a real "mob"

So the dinosaurs didn't die out after all then.  I can't believe that a few Rovers and City fans still harp on about "firms" and violence.  It nearly ruined football than, and stains it today.  On the rare occasions that City and Rovers meet, it would be great if it could be more like a Liverpool v Everton celebration rather than a nasty violent tense stand-off.
