We have won three on the trot, we are top of the league, we have an exciting young striker that is topping the goal charts, our next three matches are Norwich, Villa and the Toon, and yet you lot prefer to argue with the other half. This is one of the reasons City will struggle to be a top club, because of all this childish pettiness, focus on this Club, it is truly toe curling to read some of the comments on here.

We must sound like a load of inbreds to those that happen to look in.

How do you manage to work, shit, shower, shave, eat and breathe if all your focus is on city and nothing else?

but at least some might think just how futile stupid, and childish all this is.

Ahh, that's the tribal nature of football fans everywhere. This isn't unique to City and Rovers believe it or not.

We take the piss out of them any way we can (and they give us plenty of ammo), they take the piss out of us. None of us stop and think "hang on a minute, I can't take the piss out of Rovers fans sitting in a ******* tent provided by their trillionnaire owner because City aren't in the Premier League yet"

Anyway, I hope you've got it all off your chest.

Another big local (ish) game for them tomorrow v Oxford. How many of the best fans in the world will venture up to the mem for that do you think?

My guess would be that the crowd will be about 6,200 with 800 odd from Oxford.

It's a virtual sellout tomorrow.  Oxford have taken their 1,200 and over 9,000 have been sold in advance. POTD will soak up the rest.

Darryl's strange new hairstyle is firmly gelled in place. Matty is wearing his lucky scoring pants.  And our stunning new Macron kit is ready for its League debut.

A draw tomorrow, a loss to Bolton, who are on an early roll, on Wednesday and after 3 games you're already cut adrift,

Happy Days.

Over 10200 tickets sold in advance. Does that mean we will be hearing of thousands locked out again? Well it is the first game back in the big time.

Tough game for your mob tomorrow especially after 2hrs on Thursday night.

It will be tough.  Oxford were better than us last year but now Kemar Roofe has joined Leeds and Matty T decided not to leave us for Oxford, we stand a good chance of turning them over in the West Country/South Midlands localish derby.  How do you describe where Oxford actually is in the country?

Just like you will be playing Man U next season after two matches.  You might, of course, if they are relegated.

We've played Man U in the league plenty of times, even beat them home and away. I believe you beat them in the Cup once, about 60 years ago, but have never been good enough to measure up to them in league football.  Still at least you got a chance to play their near rivals, Altrinham.

Go on , I'll bite ....

Everyone I know , that has mentioned, posted or shared pics of us on top of the table, has done so with tongue firmly in cheek. Enjoy the unlikely (pointless actually) sight of us top of the table, have a laugh , but we are sensible enough to know that we will not stay there. Unlike the deluded majority  residing at the old Rugby ground  who only have to see something mentioned to believe it as gospel , say like someone saying a person is a Billionaire or a contract is watertight , you know THAT sort of thing.

Serious question, who gets to sit in the patio chairs ?

Well you are being blunt, I would prefer to call them obsessed. To repeat there are bigger issues at stake rather than name calling our Bristol brothers and sisters, actually it goes beyond that at times where hate is apparent, utterly ridiculous, sure have rivalry, but at times it goes too far. Can't imagine anyone with a modicum of intelligence would want to get involved in such stupidity, eh Monkeh?

How are you managing to focus on writing on this thread when you said everybody's focus should be on Bristol city I'm curious?
