Hi All,

Long time lurker, but felt the need to share this.

I work at UWE, and we recently had an update to our 'Strategy 2020' which mentioned all the recent, and ongoing, building works. It didn't mention the UWE Stadium, so after a bit of digging I found this, it's are available to the public, so no insider knowledge or anything...........

Over the next decade, we will be landscaping and transforming the 70 acres next to the campus into a new UWE Stadium and car park. The future home of Bristol Rovers Football Club, the stadium will provide:..............

It may be ready for the 2026/27 season then?

Racing ahead then .

I had surgery yesterday- home now though. Who would have thought having a camera shoved up your urethra into your kidneys was slightly less painful than watching Rovers, sounds like I had a lucky escape.

I can just imagine as the camera reaches your kidneys , David Attenborough...

Over the next decade, we hope to be landscaping and transforming the 70 acres next to the campus into a new UWE Stadium and car park if the tight-arsed camel worriers at Bristol Rovers Football Club can scrape the funding together..............

It may be ready for the 2026/27 season then?

Edited that for you

They'll be miles ahead of us by then.

What with their 6 new sprinklers and brand new wooden fence. How will we compete with that??!!

Oh dear, the blue few are getting a bit twitchy over on slag chat about lack of progress on the "Pie in the Sky" stadium. Apparently they've got their eyes on a kids park half way up Muller Road as a plan B. Blimey, plan B? They must be on Plan F by now at least

If they can't afford to build it at UWE how can they afford to build it anywhere else? Just asking like.
