That's the way it goes....

Anyway, as you're here (and I know how much you lot love talking about attendances), how come you couldn't manage to get 10k Sagheads turn up for your big local derby today? It's not as if you're having a shit season...

No wonder Wally the multi billionaire doesn't want to pay for a 21k stadium himself, I don't blame him, what's the point?

81/82 season, we were 4th div, they were 3rd div. Its the only time they've done it in the last 52 years.

We were in 3rd div in 1981/82...we were relegated that season and were in the 4th div in 1982/83...

So the land could be 8 or 12 million and the building work 40 million plus ?
The Mem would be sold for 8 million leaving a shortfall of between 40 to 44 million.
So these 'investors' pay 40 million + to build the new stadium, but how are they paid back ? they will want interest on their investment of 10% and it would have to be paid over 5 years ? 10 years ? those would be big annual bills maybe 5 million a year ?
Seems to be getting the club in a lot of debt hoping that the stadium produces enough extra income to cover the building costs and run the football club.

lol

He was available for nothing / zilch / free / nada in the summer and no one took a punt on him, and they seem to think they are hard done by getting £300,000 for him - is that the money we are getting from QPR for Luke Freeman's sale ? Maybe Holloway transferred some of that money straight to Rovers to save everyone some time and effort.

just remember you are relying on one on non-league 15ers players to keep you in The Championship

Pfft. He's a part of a squad, competing for a start alongside a Chelsea loanee and two full internationals.

If that really does end up being the case then it will go down as one of the most glorious moments of City/gas rivalry in history and unsurpassed in its irony.

Today has been a bright shining beacon in weeks of fog. Now get back in your box- I've got a new striker to welcome to Bristol.
