I do look at Companies House info and am registered to be notified of any changes, but I didn't find the things which Port Said Red mentioned specifically, that's why I asked for a pointer!

I have seen the charge taken out by Dwayne Sports, but it seems I have to take out a different registration to see the more detailed stuff - thanks to Port Said Red for the sensible, informative response!

Basically, all signs are that Rovers are rubbish and they owners have spent 7 million on Hoover bags.

Or something.

The numbers might be slightly out, but the being rubbish thing is completely true.

£7.2 million for a new sprinkler system, some grass seed, new curtains and 4 tins of paint..?! I think they must have been well over charged by the carpet cleaners!

The paint was made by Farrow and Ball, and to be fair it is an expensive paint.

I can just imagine them using a nice combination of Clunch and Mouses Back with a hint of Moles Breath to bring out the ambience.

Have they done a Glazziers type deal.. Bought the club, paid off the pay day loan but all money was taken against the value of the club/ground? Think I've probably not worded that right? Essentially borrowed against the clubs assests to buy the club..

started to look that, it doesn't look like the clubs debt has been paid, just moved from one balance book to another using the mem as collateral

Yes that does look to be the case, they have a taken a large debt but by registering a charge against the Mem they have ensured that they will be the first to be paid back before the creditors are considered.
I also find it interesting, (although I think this has been brought up before in this thread) that although they have repaid some of their creditors in full, including the Dunford family, they are still repaying a  debt to Higgs.  Higgs was owed £750k but that has been reduced to around £500k. I wonder if that was interest free and why it was not paid in full?

The debt from the Sainsburys court case was written off/converted to debt.

Also according to my wife ( a paralegal specialising in Company law) they are in breach of the new HMRC law which came into force in April 2016, which insists that any company operating in the UK must declare who the person(s) with significant control are. They are yet to do this. What are they hiding?

I believe your wife must be mistaken because records clearly show control to be in the hands of Mr Nominee-Shareholder1 and Mr Nominee-Shareholder2. These two esteemed gentlemen are passionate football fans and can frequently be found on the Gloucester Road mingling with supporters and kissing the badge on their quartered shirts. Their business methods are beyond reproach as is their track record of debt accumulation which, fortunately for us, has resulted in the Memorial Stadium being chosen from amongst a host of other assets to have a brand spanking new legal charge taken over it. This now sits proudly on the register at Companies House alongside those old and disreputable ones previously listed by Barclays Bank and MSP Capital. At a time when our national sport is plagued by owners with dubious motives and suspect sources of finance we should be grateful that we are safe and secure under the control of the saintly Nominee-Shareholder family.

It's not the same thing at all!

The rosy cheeked Lady Garden, aka Saint Sir Steve, the Duke of Guernsey, deliberately moved his domicile to the Channel Islands with the express intent of avoiding paying as much UK income tax as possible. After all, the poor chap is only worth about £1 billion, we can't expect the poor dear to do the same as everyone else and pay his rightful dues, taxes are only for the poor, not the mega rich.

As a result of his disgraceful tax dodging, he has limited access to the UK and can only spend so many days per year here. Dwane Sports is an entirely different entity, as are the AlQuadi family. They are Jordanian citizens and pay their taxes to the Jordanian government. They are therefore free to come and go in this country as they please, and no doubt have the necessary visas so to do. Dwain Sports is no doubt an entirely loss making enterprise, and would therefore incur no tax liabilities if based in the UK.

Reading the mammoth Gas thread on One Turd it becomes apparent the Shitheads are totally obsessed with Rovers. Some of the swamp-dwellers are even stalking the Al Quadi family, carrying out Companies House checks on everything Rovers related.

They really are showing signs of mental breakdown. They should chill and concent ate on their own club. And what's their continued obsession with Tampax? He's gone. He used you to progress to the next level. He's going to play in the Prem. YOU MEAN NOTHING TO HIM!

PS.

I seem to remember that one of the conditions set by UWE before they entered into a contract to build the stadium was that Rovers put the Mem up as collateral, to insure they wouldn't lose out if for some reason the project failed. Perhaps this charge has been laid to facilitate that.

PS.
No your are wrong
Sainsbury was going to buy the mem and the money would pay for the build at UWE , And let you stay there until it was built.
your new owner was sold a dream
Thinking he would pay off debt and also get a free new ground.

HIggs the hustler found his mark and pulled him in

All you gas heads rember you won't get something for nothing

uwe we will not happen
you won't get a good budget
dopy only sign a five year deal to keep you lot thinking all is good
when you struggle this year he be sacked and happy days you got to pay him.
So far you had the ship that won't sink,  the landing lights,
whats next.  It's a leep year August

Yep. The whole "City have an obsession" thing is one of the biggest ironies I have seen. There is a reason we have a huge thread dedicated to them and is started due to their obsession with us. We have the screenshots of their forums to prove it and did we ever have relegation parties? If you go on any of their forums we are mentioned in newrly every thread without fail.

My god, they've even nicknamed him Tampax.

Completely true about fatty Lambert though who after his first cap with England thanked every club he played for apart from the twent dwellers  Belters.

Also I do enjoy the fact they're so prowed to tell us without Tammy we've of gone down, which isn't completely untrue, however if it wasn't for Taylor they've still be in the conference losing to the likes of Braintree and Bath on a weekly basis with sub 4,000 crowds.

I believe that the standard used by most companies at the moment is to use a holding statement simply state that they are establishing who the persons with significant control (PSC) are, which they are allowed to do this year.

To show that the country is being as well run as the sags, the form that companies were meant to fill in when identifying PSCs, which many have been completing, was pulled by the government, weeks later a new version has not yet been provided.

I don't think there is anything in this for them to worry about. The charge on the mem on the other hand...!

As it's gone 3pm on a Saturday and I'm struggling to find any football to watch, I thought I'd remind myself why we are so scared of the gas catching us, so we are so obsessed with them and constantly looking over our shoulders as they inevitably catch us up, as the gas try to convince themselves.

"You should try it pirate I have been on otib the past couple of days and there is more rovers related news than on gaschat at the moment. They're insecurity has led to them looking for the slightest bit of news that might undermine Wael and cast some doubt on uwe going ahead. It's like they are worried about something but they can't be because they all say they are not"

According to Forbes rich list, Mr Lansdown owns just under 20% of Hargreaves Lansdown (which would be around 94m shares).

Steve's shares are currently worth around £1.2bn

Steve dividends in 2016 would have been around £30m

Wally apparently owns 3.95% of AJIB.

Last year, he would have received a dividend of around £750k

Based on the above, the gas must be right that we are worried. It's not that we can see how tinpot they are, and find it hilarious that they are so delusional. No, it couldn't possible that at all.

Wally also got a Chelsea air freshener as well. Don't forget that.

No need, it would appear that some Saghead, who definitely, definitely didn't read it on here, started a thread about the situation a few hours after Bert Tann posted it in this thread. What a coincidence!

Yeah, funny that! Considering how much he supposedly loves the Gas and how he's 'Gas fer life' he completely forgot about Rovers in that interview...although, I'm sure he did mention something about a 'Beetroot Factory'?

Maybe that's his nickname for the Mem?

That bloke is such a bitter little ******.

....and he's clearly 'obsessed'

Spends most of his life trawling through OTIB like a stalker before writing angry essays on Slagchat about City.

Its been said before and it clearly needs pointing out again, this thread wouldn't be so massive if they didn't give us so many things to laugh about. The fact it gets under their skin is a huge bonus.
