An oldie but a goodie...

My favourite quote from that article... (when quotes come back and bite you on the bum)

Quote

“A new stadium has to be built. We cannot be sustainable if we stay at the Memorial,” Qadi says. “But we inherited this situation and we did find some issues which we had to address, and it takes time because UWE are a public institution; it’s not a private company where the CEO can say: ‘Let’s get rid of this condition.’ We hired Ernst & Young, they’re doing the feasibility study and they should be done very soon, so it’s a gradual process. But if we want to succeed, a new stadium has to happen.”

Adjusted the headline to match the reality........

Wael is on about evolution gain.  The dodo was a result of evolution. It evolved over time  to take maximum advantage of its splendid isolation but then became extinct.

He's been asked by his peers why he didn't buy a club in Jordan.

Probably because no club has any assets to strip and he will have nowhere to hide when the creditors come knocking.

I doubt any of the Jordanian clubs would have him. Just like Gillingham.
