So they are talking in terms of 2k next year at what price (£250?). With concessions, they won't survive for more than a fortnight on that. Wally is going to have to put his hand in one of his pockets very soon and find that Daddy has sewn them up. Remind me, exactly how much have the Waels actually invested in the club so far? Peter O Hanraha-hanrahan
Yeah, just forget about all the money and fantastic publicity that City have earned with our run in the League Cup this season. They’ll finally get the chance to ‘finish themselves off’ on Tuesday night. When was the last time your team made it this far in a cup competition you massively thick ****?

RidgeRed
Marshfield Gas, perhaps known as Marsh Gas? Marsh Gas is also known as swamp or bog gas or methane. Caused by decaying matter. How appropriate. Rotting canvas etc.

22A
Now Rovers have a habit of going out of cup competitions in the early stage(s). They also complain about a lack of proper training facilities......... After Newport County beat Leeds today, I saw an interview with their Manager. He explained how their training centre had a fire earlier this week, but a cup run will finance a new training ground. There you go gas; you "only" need to win a few games and you're sorted!

It's like their hero Windass, they think one goal somehow cancels out the amazing season we had, that somehow all the memories, expectations, hope somehow just vanish because of one game. Man blues could put 10 past us, but would I rather have our season or Rovers ? Am I happy - yes, hopeful - yes, having great fun - yes, watching some great football - yes. A drubbing won't change that, our poor deluded gas rivals, competition, fools.

Guest
Just think of the money we will be earning even if they get 10 past us - and all because of THAT pass by Matty Taylor in injury time.... It is THEIR biggest game of the last 20 years which sums them up really. We have gained many fans/plaudits on our journey this season in the League and the Cup run. Regardless of what happens from now until the end of the season, our future looks very bright, yet they don't even look like they might even have one!! You can imagine them on Tuesday tuning in and seeing nearly 8000 Teds away at the Etihad and absolutely seething with rage and jealousy. Just think that will be nearly the same amount as their home gates! Bless them...
HoldenBall
They didn't even reach the semi finals of the Fa trophy FFS Our cup run has really really got to them, naturally growing up a dirty horsepuncher they are filled with bitterness, rage and jealousy but this has truly tipped them over the edge. Whilst they can't afford to upgrade their portoloos to toilets we're taking 8,000 fans to semi final games, more than their average home crowds. It's too much for the little fewers.

Like the use of the words ‘dedicated’ and ‘trekked’ as if taking 4000 to Stamford Bridge is like travelling to Pescara for an Anglo Italian Cup match. 1

A drubbing won't change that, our poor deluded gas rivals, competition, fools. This is so so true. It's like going on the most amazing world holiday but you break your ankle on the last day. Would you then forget about the holiday because you broke your ankle, like **** would you. It could happen again this season and we get to the playoffs, get to the final, and lose again. Then the SAGS will have another hero to worship as they have nothing going on at their tinpot club to worship, (they never will) so they have to worship our failures just to have some happiness in their sad, bitter, jealous, unfulfilling lives, bless their little cotton socks watching Matty Taylor putting in that cross for Korey when they were watching hoping we got smashed. - Still going to watch on Tuesday bellends when we have just as much fans in the away end that you get in your dump all in If we lose 1 nil or 8 nil who cares, the inner rage, high blood pressure, and reds faces that the SAGS have makes us playing Man City all the more enjoyable than it is already. The thing is, if you've had a boil on your arse for the last 17 years, even if you have it cut off, you'll always have the scar. The way things are going it looks like the boil will be there for may years to come. Mind the gap especially if that's where your boil is located. 1
