If they get beat by Posh on Saturday there could be a proper meltdown on sagchat, not too many people happy over there at all...

In fairness if we get beat by Forest there will be one on here.

Yes, staff of two IIRC costing £250k per year.

Here's one of the staff:

Steve Hamer did his usual blather to defend its costs but freely admitted that it existed and cost that much.

As per my previous post it makes no sense if you look at Rovers as a football club but if you view them as a property asset currently used for football then £250k looks like a reasonable short term investment to obtain a development partner.

Thank you, as I said I’ve seen it mentioned a few times, probably by your good self. Your post makes a lot of sense. I’ve never been convinced by their intentions from the start and knowing how the club had to sell off its car park in the past for housing (?) believe it’s only a matter of time before it’s all gone. Looks like it’s going to be at the hands of their Messiah.

I don’t really know whether to laugh or cry at them. Laugh I think as they were only too ready to stick the boot in when we were down.

So when is this Wael character going to come clean and admit he is actually Wayne from Knowle and actually a gert Ted all along?

That’ll be Wayner from Knowle.

Apparently we’re “Dunderheads” this season. Well, we might not have a sponsor of the calibre of Bradshaw’s Snack Box but not every club has the global appeal of Wael’s squillionaires...

they were outraged because we are sponsored by an online casino but they are quite happy to be sponsored by the football player index, they fail to see the irony ether when I tried to explain it in the pub saturday

They’re just annoyed that Matty Taylor put it all on red.

Don't they also have a betting company on the back of their shirt?

Exactly. I will admit I know little about their sponsor but seems to be some sort of Fantasy Football (imaginary game) type thing. I’m not overly impressed with our sponsor but at least it’s real even if it is betting.

Most of us expect to see it on here and even after a draw!! Over there they have still been classing it as "evolution". More and more of them are seeing what is actually going on, and more and more are getting irate by each thread...They will also be loving the fact that a certain Mr Clarke is making an appearance down "Trashton" tonight  ?

Funny thing is that whilst we are 9 to 1 against being promoted, they are at 13 to 2.  So the bookies think that they are much more likely to go up than we are.  Who wouls you put your money on even as a neutral?

both 13/2 to get relegated as well

Love this in the Bristol post

"Reports had linked Rovers to the likes of Forest Green's Christian Doidge but that looks unlikely with Clarke explaining that big names were outside the budget of the Pirates"

Jamie Lucas at Weston is outside their price range these days
